Same here, sounds like we had the same person install our filters. Factory filter was torqued so tight the fluted wrench cap stripped and I had to crush the the filter with another filter wrench to get it off.
Yep.
Last year around this time, my local dealers had about 7-10 4BWs each on their lots. They all had $30k-$50k addendums. The "deal" at that time was if you could negotiate MSRP and get fair money for your trade to help stomach paying MSRP.
I watched so many cars sit all year and now...
So, nothing wrong with the PF63 but the UPF63R has been considered an upgrade for the LF4 engine for a while now. The folks from Tapout Tuning here on the forum recommend this filter and use it in all their builds. I have tried both filters and I just like the more beefed up UPF63R. I like...
I only use 5w30 Dexos1 in my 4BW but I use the UPF63R filter now. It is definitely feels more robust than the standard one for a few bucks more but my baby is worth it. :)

It is all about the drive for me. Great chassis, well tuned magnetic dampers, Tremec 6-speed. Add some nice styling at a fair price and I am sold. I have a no option 4BW with M6, love it. It is the more practical, easier to live with Camaro for me. Performs like a Camaro SS 1LE.
Luxcare is more than likely the interior/exterior protection product. Paint sealant and interior protection for the seats and carpets. I have no idea what that noise is but it is not normal and it sounds very "aftermarket-like".
Boca Raton area. I see a fair number of Cadillac SUVs and some CT4s and CT5s but never see a Blackwing, except when driving by the dealership. I was at a Home Depot a few weeks ago and a fellow customer was admiring the car and he asked what it was, he had never seen it before. Haha, great...
By the way, I am in South Florida as well. I haven't seen another 4BW on the road since I bought mine last year. I think you, me and your client may be the only ones. ;)
It is nice to see the pendulum shift in the other direction after the market we have been through. It was just a matter of time. As long as interest rates are elevated I think we will see more and more pricing pressure.
$6k off was a pretty typical discount before the pandemic. Around 10%. Once they sit long enough or GM starts doing the end of year incentives you see 15-20%.
It looks like this dealer discounted it about 20% on their end but if it is the white car I posted above, they had over $5k in...
You would think the dealer would easily get more if they just sent it to the auction rather than take such a huge loss. Although, they probably balanced it against all the other vehicles they were making a huge profit.
Nice, but did they rob him on the trade in?
When I bought my 2022 4BW car, I got a "fair" price for my ZL1 on trade, which is the only reason I did the deal since I had to pay MSRP for the 4BW at the time. However, I purposely did not pick a loaded up trim since these cars historically...
