I am also in the bay area and waited at the first slot on the list with a local dealer for months without a build. I now have an allocation with a December build week through @1StunnaV at Sewell. Bay area dealers are terrible. I had to get my M3 from Socal.

I couldn't wrap my head around the price, either. I won't get that much out of it with its 95% street life. I would love to drive the difference though. Maybe these will show up at spring mountain.

This is funny. I was super excited that they would even accept an order with only CF1. In the past it sounds like they normally made you get both. Good luck in your rodeo! Mine is at 3400, but there are many weeks of nonsense to come.

Mine supposedly went 3000 status with a December 9th build week. We will see if that means things are actually moving.

Reviving a super old thread. Anyone on the peninsula who would be up for showing off their car? Finally got a build slot for a 2025 but still haven't experienced one outside of a showroom. 😂 I'm in the Sunnyvale area but will travel.

This happened for my G80 M3. Delayed production, stuck in Germany, ship delayed, stuck in CA port... I was losing my mind.

This is my experience as well. I'd probably take a 24 at a discount, but everyone in a few hundred mile radius is standing on MSRP and pretending I'm super super lucky they aren't asking for a markup.

I'm happy to take this slot off your hands if you don't need it. 🤣

Finally got a note from the dealership I put a deposit down for a MSRP allocation with. They got a single Le Monstre allocation and they want a markup. 🤣

That's a killer deal. They even have a six speed with a big discount. Better pick it up today, though, before Milton hits.

I'd take a 24 instead of waiting for a 25 if it came with a huge discount. None of the dealerships I've emailed want to flex.

I had a 2000 in that blue. Was such a fun car.

Have you driven it? I was sold on going to a C8, but one drive was enough to turn me off. It's fine, but it didn't feel special or raw enough to be fun. Maybe the z06 with the wailing engine would be different, but the regular C8 was pretty meh.

That looks totally different than the car I saw. 😂 Crazy how different a little shade seems to make it look.
