Heck no, I only wish we could have got the cars together! Maybe now I will do so by driving West instead of East.
I have been crazy with work the past few days and am just getting caught up. Happy for both you and JB!
Man, Nick, congratulations on the R8! The guys who owns the shop that does my detailing daily drives one. Killer machine.
@jbawden, welcome to club BDT!! Mine has just surpassed 3000 miles, and it is the most enjoyable machine I have ever owned. Don't get me wrong, I loved my 22 Rift...
I would. Red would be a great touch too.
As for competing against "ze Germans", sure, we can say Cadillac needs nicer leather (but thank you Cadillac for a "just right" steering wheel compared to the overly thick one in the M4 I owned). But we can also say in order for the Germans to compete...
HOLY COW Nick... I did not expect this post! The other thing is hopefully amazing to let go of this ultra rare Blackwing. GLWS my Friend. Anyone considering dumping the same on a 2025 is getting so much more value here.
PS, my favorite photo is the last one (y)
I agree, 50 seems like a lot. But at this rate, 99/100 LT4 Blackwing owners will never have a problem.
I thought this video was quite informative. He mentions the importance of break-in. Everyone has their own belief, I just don't see redlining a new motor at 12 miles as a good idea. I...
Exactly. The L87 is a different engine the LT4. There seems to be a lot of confusion about this fact.
In another thread where the guy lists all known LT4 blown engines, we compared that against 3 years of production. Was it less than 1%, or 2%? Super low. So I am not sure what the % needs...
Oh it absolutely tells the time, and quite easily.
I am off for now, but can comment more tomorrow. The Freak is, and will always be, an icon within the watch world.
LOL, 100%!
2025 LT4 is same as 22-24. Accept it apparently has a more poorly made drain pan plug. Wonder what else is cheaper in it as well. Happens most ever model year, manufacturers buy cheaper parts to lower their cost.
For the OP, Option 1 seems far and away the best choice here.
The same 4 seats are the mid level seats in the 5. But as you know, the 5 also offers the top level SA seats, which use the tan or sky cool grey in a much more limited manner.
Yes.
As you said, it is an "AWD Rocket".
Before I bought my manual CT5-V Blackwing, I owned a loaded, 2022 M4 Competition xDrive. Also an AWD rocket. C&D ran it to 60 in 2.8 seconds if I recall. Not sure how that compares to the Nissan. The interior, in full Tartufo leather, was an...
You seem well on the right check!! I agree with everything you said.
I found my BDT at a dealer, and it came equipped with the carbon backed seats. Of course I am happy to have them, and love that they differentiate the car from other models. But getting the SA seats is the key move. That...
I'll share my opinion if you like. I have now owned 2 manual 5s with full SA carbon seats. My 22 Rift Metallic had the black leather, and my 24 BDT has the tan. Do I like one more than the other? No, but I definitely like my tan as much as all black, and feel it definitely gives the cabin a...
