I traded in my 2013 Mini Cooper S for the 5BW. I am grateful to the MINI bc it was a used car (relative) bargain that I had a ton of fun thrashing around for 6 years. It allowed me to save and invest cash, which I eventually used for the new ride.
I cannot get over how good the M6 is on the Blackwing. I don’t know where it is on the spectrum of great manuals, but it’s up there. I was able to find a used manual 5BW sitting at a dealership an hour away bc I needed to confirm for myself how amazing it was. I hated the manual on the newest...
I have an appt to wrap the entire car, followed by ceramic coating next week! I entirely wrapped my 2017 Corvette GS; it was a fantastic decision. Initial impressions include disbelief. All the infotainment stuff is overwhelming at the moment, but I do not have cars with much technology from...
I picked it up and drove it home. I feel so fortunate. I wish you all the best and it has been great bantering with you all over the last several months. The camaraderie here is a ton of fun. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s photos when you all receive yours!
It has arrived! I’ll be picking it up tomorrow after work!
Edit: It never showed up on the Cadillac or dealership website. The VIN never showed up there either. It just appeared. It was such a nice phone call to receive that it was here!
There’s a $500 off pop up voucher on Cadillac.com if you browse the website enough. There’s another one for $100 if you take a test drive. I say you spend today playing on the site to get both of these popups and save some cash on your car tomorrow. Happy New Year!
This may be a dumb question but how did you find this info on the Cadillac website? I just received a phone call from my dealership, and they have my window sticker. They told me that the car would arrive in January. I have the VIN. Thanks.
I'd say sit in the 2024 and play with the interior tech. Then, sit inside a 2025 (non-V) CT5 and decide what you want. In the end, that's the significant difference from the standpoint of interacting with the car. I chose the 2025 given that frame of mind. I did not order a ton of options.
There’s already one en route to my dealership and I know I was the first one on the list. Now, that one is a $130k car and mine is a $110k car. I wonder if they’re shipping the well-optioned ones out first.
