When I first took delivery of my 4BW I told the dealer to please only fill it with 93 octane (Florida), they said of course, well 5 miles later I hear the ignition knock and ping and it didn't pull very strong so I know they put in 87 octane or some crappy dealership gas they had onsite. I had...
FWIW, I had the recall done a couple weeks ago. It is in tough spot to get to at the back of the engine near the firewall. The tech had to take the cowl and wipers off just to be able to inspect behind there yet alone install the protective sleeve and zip-tie the harness away from the brake...
No, synthetic leather, branded as Inteluxe by GM. They are easy to clean and hold up well but if you want the real thing then you need spend the $5,500 for them on the 4BW. I would test them out first though, they are hard as rock compared to the base seats. After the honeymoon wears off you...
Yeah, side bolsters and lumbar are electronically adjustable on 4BW base seats. They also have that thigh extension piece you can extend out. I don't use it but some may like it.
Living in Florida I like the ventilated feature of the top tier seats but not for $5,500 more and less comfort.
I tested out all the three seats before purchasing and went with the base seats and have no regrets. I agree that the base seats don't look as cool as the sport bucket seats but are noticeably more comfortable than the others and you can save quite a bit of money. Figure $3k more for the mid...
It is unique for sure. I own a Model 3 and it really is a great car if you are cool with all the aspects of owning an EV. That said, if you like to row your own gears and listen to the exhaust note, you will miss it after the Cybertruck honeymoon wears off. I am on the list to get a Cybertruck...
FWIW, I had this recall done today. Per the service recall bulletin they are supposed to inspect the wiring harness and brake line first before ordering parts but it is in tough spot to get to so I would try to make sure they have the parts on-hand first so you don't have to do this twice.
I...
My 2016 Camaro SS was one of those that shuddered down the road at less than 5000 miles. The transmission was decent unfortunately GM screwed up with the fluid and destroyed thousands of torque converters before they figured the right fluid to use. The A10 is the actual fix.
Agreed, I have owned both and the A10 was a significant improvement. I don't think it needs 10 gears, 8 would be suffice but the improved programming and shifting performance of the A10 makes it much better.
I hear you. I should clarify. While I feel the A10 is the technically superior transmission for the LT4, I grew bored with it in my ZL1. I need more engagement when driving a sports sedan like this and paddles don't do it for me so I would pick the M6 transmission every time even with the...
Well said, I share similar opinions. I agree that the A10 is the better transmission for the LT4 engine. All those tightly spaced fast shifting gears help keep the supercharger in boost and extract the most performance from the engine. The M6 transmission uses taller gearing when mated to the...
