For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

I would not put much weight in KBB for this car. Some of the options are incorrect for the car and I suspect there isn't much transaction data for them to use. It wouldn't give a value for my car.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

The other night, I did a decent test of dimming the instrument cluster to dim mode. It makes a big visibility difference in wet conditions, especially with tinted windows.

    CT5-V Is PDR a option?

The other difference is PDR records car telemetry for use in Toolbox and Pi Toolbox.

    CT5-V Is PDR a option?

IIRC, PDR audio won't play on OS X without additional software.

    Video: TheStraightPipes Review CT4-V

To be fair, all the press events had the 4BW and 5BW together, and of course the 5BW would garner all the attention due to the motor. :)

    CT5 BW audio sources

The main thing for streaming from a phone is to make sure it's using Android Auto/Apple CarPlay for sound, not Bluetooth. Bluetooth is trash quality, but the formers should be at least CD quality.

I got your rain here, right before NASCAR race stuff started on my Mid-Ohio trip mentioned on prior page.

    CT5-V New Car, Battery Challenges

There are systems in these cars that use a small amount of power at all times and appear to be sensitive to power levels. It may only take a couple weeks for weird symptoms to appear, hence the suggestion to use a tender.

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

I too got a fully spec'd 4BW, but I don't care about resale value and probably had unique considerations when I bought. It met my needs and I enjoy driving it, that is all I really care about. Financially, I treat cars as pure expenditures, somewhat like entertainment and hobby purchases. I...

CT5-V Details on the Hennessy H1000 CT5-V Blackwing Package

I'm not saying R&D covers the full price gap, just that I'm sure they had to do some for this specific application. I agree most of the price is probably the name.

You're also covering their R&D expense.

    Highest Mileage Blackwings

Not I. ~4800 since last August, but I also work from home plus drive the wife's MDX during winter months (versus buying snow tires and wheels). It'll get some miles on it this weekend and next (daily trips to Mid-Ohio) and in August (Gettysburg).

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

Well, you see, there are various ways to quantify success in terms of selling a car. One might say total units sold, to which someone might reply "so this special edition car that they only made a few of*" was therefore a sales flop, and then everyone would laugh at that definition's failure to...

A serious question and a serious comment, and your response is this?

That matches my 4BW truck, except the suspension inserts were yellow. I put them in the velcro tiedowns.

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

What is the quantification for establishing something was a sales flop? Not really sure it was unjustified when the car still had a waiting list.
