I think I can speak for everyone here when I request that you stay that way. Dressed, that is. ;)
OP, if they do deny the claim (as I would expect that they would) any decent reconditioning person can fix that. Your dealer should be able to recommend someone, as they do that kind of stuff...
I'm late responding to this - it was the first I'd heard (read) about your issues. I hope you are continuing with the recovery and are feeling better!
When we bought the money pit, it had a RaceDeck-variety floor system, which looked really cool but was very dirty and had not been maintained...
OK, so first of all, the E46 is probably the best 3 series chassis that BMW ever did, and very possibly the best one that they ever did, period (the E39 M5 still holds a special place in my heart). I've owned them all.
I had a 2018 OG M2, correctly equipped with the manual and the shifter in...
Chevy continued to do this nonsense into the C7 generation. Just FYI, since I'm wearing my pedantic hat this morning. LOL
My general rule is that the engine is lugging if it starts to knock or exhibit some roughness. I haven't felt that in the BW in 6th, as long as I'm at 60 or better and am...
I'm not going to repeat what was written above except perhaps to say do it, you won't regret it!
On my 15 mile commute I average 19 MPG, and I've seen well over 24 (IIRC) on long highway drives. Zero issues on the long drive.
If it would make you feel better, compare our cars' depreciation to a BMW 7 series, or Mercedes S class, or any Bentley. And good luck finding any of those with a manual transmission and a glorious obnoxious exhaust sound.
Well, that's trade-in, not retail. And when I look at cars for sale (purely for research purposes) it seems that most of them have had engine replacements and buybacks, the latter of which often affects resale values. And KBB doesn't distinguish things at that granular of a level.
But yes, it...
I agree with @TheShark, and whenever I see a car with a wrap, I wonder if they are trying to hide something. I realize that people do wraps for many other reasons, but I'd want to see the car in all of its naked glory.
The price is probably fair if there had not been any accident history. As...
Maybe they figured that your grandson wouldn't eat enough to justify the higher price. Or she just liked you better than Nick. ;)
Glad this worked out for you, sorry to read about your health issues.
I watched that Jason Camissa video again yesterday, and I generally trust his (and you guys') judgement, so I thought, hey, it may be worth a shot.
No Lucid dealer near me. The closest, in Charlotte, it turns out is just a mobile repair guy, so either I go to D.C. or Miami. Yeah, D.C. is...
It's probably just that little switch that you depress to unlatch the door.
Potentially useless digression: I recently parted with my 2008 C6 Corvette. The C6 was the first generation to use these new-fangled door latches where you have a switch that causes the door latch to release. One of...
Leasing it is a good idea, and that seems like a pretty darn good subsidy that they have going on.
You win the "made up word of the day!" award. Congratulations. Thank you for the chuckle this morning.
I've borrowed and test driven and evaluated many EV, and initially I find the torque and...
Curious: Years before, the wife and I went to Vegas, and the car rental place would not let me take it out of state - so no Grand Canyon. I thought that was both odd and annoying. Natch Turo wouldn't be a problem, but I was curious if anyone else ever ran into such a thing. A local car...
LOL, I'm that guy. No NPP, and it had no value at trade-in time. Natch, if you sell it yourself then you are correct, it does make a difference - not so much in the money, but the speed of getting rid of it.
