Can you verify which firmware is the latest?
On my app it says that I have
74/4//5 installed.
When browsing for new updated versions there's a Stable, Beta, and Alpha listed.
The files are named:
JB4_P74_Cadillac_4.hex - Stable
JB4_P74_Cadillac_5.hex - Beta...
these are the rotors off of my C6 Z06 (with Z07 package) after ~10-12 track days on them. I was able to get a good 2-3 sets of pad in their life. When they start to get towards the end of their life cycle they get pitted on the surfaces. The pitted surface becomes coarse and will shave down your...
Did you ever figure out how to remove some of those vacuum hoses that don't have buttons to remove? It almost looked like they were crimped on.
But I agree with your assessment, spark plugs are easily accessible with a 6" extension and a basic ratchet. You just gotta bend some of those hoses I...
Honestly for 91oct I feel that a fully unlocked tune would only achieve diminishing returns past the gains of a JB4 with the added cost of losing my warranty.
JB4 is ~$700
Full Tune ~$3200
$2500 more for maybe a few more whp on 91 in the midrange?
I'd like to see some true 91 dynos before...
Hello Guys,
Over the weekend I was finally able to get my Bluebelt Package from TapOut.
Their customer service and shipping speeds were top notch! I really appreciated the free keychains and sour patch kids. Thanks guys.
I personally installed the Giggs Throttle body, Brisk Spark Plugs, Green...
Amazing results!
Any idea what 91 octane would yield?
Also, how does remote tuning work with HP Tuners? Is it a matter of running datalogs while doing 3rd gear pulls and emailing them to you guys for revisions?
This sounds like a stupid question, but given variability with E85 blends in my area, how do we achieve 30% in our cars with a flexfuel sensor?
Just drop 3 gallons of E85 and hope it hits E30 +/- 5%?
To all of those buying the Lid, why not just get a JB4? The gains are identical for the most part.
This lid seems to trick the MAF sensors for increased boost. Why not go with the JB4 which essentially does the same and won't have to worry about CELs?
I remember watching a review on the Blackwing and one of the GM engineers said that the brake pedal IS hooked up to the system Incase of an electronic failure.
I've always used a simple Brake Bleeder tube with a check valve that hooks up to the bleeders on the calipers. I'm hoping this will...
I got this kit for my CT4 and I noticed that there is small gap on the top of the front badge after installing.
I was able to reach my fingers through and around the grill to press out the original front emblem. It took some finagling, but eventually it popped out.
The CT4 Monochrome front...
Gonna closely follow the development for this!
I had a JB1 (the old JB4) on my 2016 Golf R back in the day. It worked great.
How would someone living in California be able to order this kit *cough* *cough*
