I always told my wife my kids first car will be a Prius because it goes so slow. Now Prius go 0-60 in 6 secs. Out goes that logic. Anyhow - I also agree no teenager should be given any type of car with that much speed and power.
This markup reminds me of the bmw m CS, which updates the software with some suspension goodies but they charge a very large premium. But with all the aftermarket bmw software tuning, u can easily tune the car like a CS. Would be nice if someone hack and provide the track package software upgrade
rumor miss is the 2025 ct5 BWs are 200 lbs heavier than the last generation due to the larger screens. Just a rumor I’m starting to help my 2023 keep its value. Ha!
Les Stanford in MI was pricing their remaining CT5 BW even in manual $4k under msrp. I think now the bubble has popped and u should be able to order and get one easily. But I wouldn’t wait on 25 because I agree it will have a decent increase in price.

It is so easy to change the fluid. I changed mine at 1800 miles and it was full of metal fine particles. I’m sure you will be fine not doing it but doesn’t hurt. BMW M cars have their diff changed tracked or not tracked at 1200 miles.
I did SMR with a manual and auto. Auto u toggle through gears so quickly even if you down shift two gears and up two gears, and do it anytime u want in the braking and accelerating. It’s just so quick and simple.
One wonders what is the cost of 2 days of tire and brake at spring mt. U don’t go full on all day since there is class time. So I wonder if u are doing approx 1 day of brake and tire wear. Plus not having to do track insurance which is like $500-$1000 depending on track. Probably the $2000...
