One of the best inexpensive watches is a Longines Spirit. The Longines Spirit is arguably the best bang for the buck. But it may not be your style. I would say ~$5K is the low end for a good quality watch.
Plenty of resources, some I like.

I’ve paired down my “expensive” watches. Which I consider in the $5K to $25K zone for me. Some people consider $50K or more expensive. There are a good amount of watches of very high quality in the $10K zone. Essentials I consider are a dive watch, chronograph, and a GMT. After that it’s all gravy.
That’s true, I’m fascinated by the history of watch companies and the evolution of the movements and designs over time. Looking at the minute details of the watch one begins to see the subtle features. It’s like cars, but on a miniature and precise scale.
I was seriously considering getting a Luminor Marina recently. The turn off was the new P.9010 movement which by all accounts is a cost cutting measure even though the watch lists for nearly $9K (and no hacking seconds!) The good news, if you want to call it that, is the price dives...
There is a microwave horn antenna inside and some waveguides to direct and focus on the sensor. A certain collection area is needed for sensitivity and can’t get around basic physics. You can see the antenna assembly in the video.
I tried the mirror tap and couldn’t get a good connection. Instead used a hardwire kit to the driver side fuse block tied to ignition power on. As for the blendmount, I have used them in the past, but found a great out of the way spot above the rearview mirror.
Taking away drugs doesn’t work. Addiction is a mental disorder. However, stopping illegal trafficking is fundamental to law and order. These same cartels exploit woman and children into sex slavery. Taking away guns doesn’t work. The recent shootings in Sweden, with strict gun laws, exemplify...
In Arizona no K band, it’s all Ka. Laser isn’t used on the highway due to limited range, only in the city. Where I live it seems they’ve given up on speeding enforcement almost entirely. It was primarily done by motorcycle and I just don’t see them anymore after the pandemic.
Before the R8 there was the R7 which is what I have and been very pleased with the results. When the R8w price drops I’ll move to that and put the R7 in my Jeep.
Also had a Stinger laser jammer installed when I first got my 5BW. There was a lot of use of laser in my city, but after the pandemic...
Securing the border is also about human trafficking. The last administration “lost” over 300,000 children. The US needs to do it. I’m not smart enough to know the best methods so I’ll let the professionals handle it.
I do find it beyond lunacy that liberal cities are soft on drug crimes and...
The alternative is what? Toss our hands up and say the problem is too big to solve. That’s not who we are as Americans. Americans fight against insurmountable odds and never give up.
Nothing is off the table. Maybe we send in Delta (they’re already in country) with air support and take out labs...
It’s funny to listen to people loosing it on TV, it’s like they haven’t learned anything in the last 8 years. Things are happening so fast the news from 2 hours ago is old news. Legacy media can’t keep up and their heads are spinning.
