    Stupid Loud

Don’t know, never heard of that. Get in and out of the car easier?

    Automatic Windows Up

Blasphemy. How dare you suggest people read the manual (or use Google). This topic could run another two pages. 🤪

    GM Extended Warranty

Cadillac apparently has three plans: Powertrain, Silver, and Platinum. Which one is this.

    Automatic Windows Up

First it needs to be set to be allowed in the vehicle settings. Then press the unlock button twice and hold it the 2nd time. I think that combination works.

CT5-V Missing Volume knob on MY25+

For working people like myself, my spending is loosely tied to how I perceive the job market if I were to loose my job. My regular investments stay the same (dollar cost averaging as you alluded to) and my discretionary budget the same. However, I may fatten my emergency cash during those times...

    GM Extended Warranty

So the powertrain warranty is 6yr/70,000 miles. Doesn't seem like much of benefit for the engine.

Just paid over $100 for an OEM air filter

I ordered one (end of May delivery) along with oil and coolant for the 5BW and stuff for my Jeep. Summit Racing is great. I made a return before and it was super easy. Use code "RADIO" for $10 off, not sure the minimum or expiration date.

Pics of your Blackwing in regular parking spots

Not so regular a parking spot.

CT5-V HORRIBLE experience with Bayway Cadillac SW

A wise person once told me “no” was a complete sentence. But more importantly one needs to clearly know their intentions and motivations to make good decisions. That aside, I bought my 5BW sight unseen as it was a show/event car inbound to the dealer. Never seen a 5BW in person until my car...

CT5-V HORRIBLE experience with Bayway Cadillac SW

I paid several hundred for something. Don’t remember what and didn’t care. Early days and I was just happy to get the car at MSRP. Now if it was a Camry I would have walked.

CT5-V Manual 25 Blackwing no blindspot monitoring. Why

I lived a good part of my life without a cell phone either. Somehow everything worked out fine.

CT5-V Manual 25 Blackwing no blindspot monitoring. Why

In a couple months I’ll be coming up on 3 years of driving my 5BW. Not enthralled with the facelift or the dash (or the price). If I was buying I’d go for a used 22-24.

    CT5-V CT5-BW without goat rodeo?

It’s nice to dream. But you know, even after you get a car there is no guarantee the rodeo ends.

Soler Throttle Controller or Pedal Commander

That’s how rich people in other countries beat the goat rodeo. The thieves are well aware of OnStar systems and therefore a good idea to install an aftermarket GPS tracker as well. Once it goes to Mexico the chances of recovery are zero. They don’t need to start the car. They will pull it up on...

Noob-ish question on 5BW Oil Consumption

I’m saying two things, the DIC oil life is at 5 to 10% by 2.5K to 3K miles when I change my oil and I don’t need to add oil in between oil changes. I’m also a little heavy on the right foot and shift at higher RPMs as much as I can get away with.

Noob-ish question on 5BW Oil Consumption

You’ll be fine. Just drive it 1,000 to 1,500 miles and change the oil. Pick up an extra quart at that time. I haven’t had any need to add oil between changes. Actually. since I do a lot of city driving my oil life indicator only nets me about 2,500 miles. I changed the diff out at the same time...

Soler Throttle Controller or Pedal Commander

What happens if the phone or app stops working. Is there a manual method to enter a code to unlock.
