First it needs to be set to be allowed in the vehicle settings. Then press the unlock button twice and hold it the 2nd time. I think that combination works.

I paid several hundred for something. Don’t remember what and didn’t care. Early days and I was just happy to get the car at MSRP. Now if it was a Camry I would have walked.
In a couple months I’ll be coming up on 3 years of driving my 5BW. Not enthralled with the facelift or the dash (or the price). If I was buying I’d go for a used 22-24.

I’m saying two things, the DIC oil life is at 5 to 10% by 2.5K to 3K miles when I change my oil and I don’t need to add oil in between oil changes. I’m also a little heavy on the right foot and shift at higher RPMs as much as I can get away with.
You’ll be fine. Just drive it 1,000 to 1,500 miles and change the oil. Pick up an extra quart at that time. I haven’t had any need to add oil between changes. Actually. since I do a lot of city driving my oil life indicator only nets me about 2,500 miles.
