This is making me wonder: with all the specialized services out in the world, I would figure there might be automotive specialists who specifically are “rattle people” who are experts in tracking down and addressing interior rattles/noises in cars. Is that a thing??
My buddy who is a sales manager at a mopar dealership said nobody uses KBB in the business, that NADA is far more in line with what they use.
On your dilemma, reasonably it just doesn’t make any financial sense to spend $25k for a color swap/one model year change. It’s funny but I really wanted...
Is that Radiant Red or Infrared? Looks great! On the front grille badge, I presume you do not have the adaptive cruise control? I’d love to do that badge but supposedly can’t, so I’m always looking for somebody who figured out how to make it work.
Figured I would put this here in case it helps anyone. It isn’t specifically related to any of the problems you mentioned, but I suspect it could be common, especially with anyone who has installed a hard mount radar detector. The plastic cover between the windshield and the rear view mirror has...
Holy cow $60k in add ons? I saw a 4BW at a Houston dealership which had $20k of dealer garbage and “market adjustment” on it, I didn’t think it could get worse than that!
PDR for the win on that one. Without that I'm sure they would have told you to have a nice day. I once had a dealership porter absolutely demolish both rims on the passenger side on a curb while my then brand new CTS-V was there for a free oil change. They said nothing, parked it so I'd only see...
Mine has not stopped me driving forward (although I have gotten the giant red flashing crash box on the hud and vibrating seat). But in reverse it has hard braked and put in the parking brake on me several times while sloooowly backing into my garage.
Congrats the vette looks awesome! Hopefully they didn’t bone you on the trade, but any dealer worth his salt would have. (I just bought my 4BW, $10k under MSRP and they were gonna just collect that from me on the trade. I was able to nearly double what they offered me in trade on my CTS-V by...
Randomly had a CT5-V (non-BW) in the cyber yellow park next to me yesterday. In the bright sun it has a slightly sickly greenish tinge in it. Dino’s pictures above look amazing, this one I saw did not really look very great.

Honestly the only thing I don't love about my 4 is the turn signal stalk. It feels very cheap and in particular if I am manually returning it to "neutral." Like if you have it on for a turn and then you want to turn the blinker off before it automatically turns off, that does not feel like a...
I agree with this. Saw one in person at the dealership in the sun. I came away feeling like there was almost a sickly green in it. I really want to like it but in person I was a bit turned off by it.
So does the CT4BW use the speakers to generate or augment engine sound?? I have heard some reviews say it does, but if mine does it is ultra subtle because I haven't noticed that and it's fairly quiet even in valves-open mode.
