Just press the button in the center dash button row with the “P (radar icon)” on it. That disables the emergency braking.

You might try disabling the parking alert/auto braking just in case it somehow is that system causing the brake to be applied.

Alright, so I’m a dork… I messed with it today and realized that only the “wingtip” of the button is the actual button. I was pressing the part with the actual picture of a steering wheel on it and it doesn’t budge.

Man that is strange. Mine is absolutely not a button unless I need to MASH it. There is not even a hint of movement to it with quite bit of pressing force.

So for everyone, is the portion of the steering wheel that has this light on it actually a button for you guys? That you can press to turn the heater on/off?

Interesting to say the least. I’ll be honest though, I am unconvinced by that thread. From what I could see, only three people actually tried pulling that fuse and one of those reported no changes. I think there is some placebo effect happening.
