That's just wild. I purchased this similar coverage on my wife's Porsche Cayenne with her 22" wheels (and the cover "any wheel currently on the vehicle", which is good since we also have a winter set of 21"... Anyway, low and behold I brought it in for service and pointed it out, and got it back...
I've seen two in the tri-cities of TN/VA. A white one at Sam's Club and a Black one cruising nearby there. Oddly enough, I was also at Sam's in mine. I went on a 2,000-mile road trip and saw not one.
Currently debating leaving my roof as is, wrapped black and keeping the blaze orange fin, or sending it out to a shop for paint.
Do you have pictures of how yours looks against black? I had a Race Red Mustang which for some reason, the shop was able to wrap that shark fin, and it was great as...
Who won between the two? There's no factory Macan that would match my wife's Cayenne 😉 It's even a toss up against my 5BW, at that! She'll run 11.8 @118 with a consistent 3.4 second 0-60 compared to the magazine times 3.6 second to 60 and seems I'll catch her at the end of the quarter at...
Home sweet home. What an animal this thing is. All I can say is that it lacks some significant refinement of say, a Porsche, but it also doesn't have the price tag. I'm comparing to Porsche as we have a Cayenne and I was hardcore searching for a Panamera or one of these and this won. (For now)
Thanks! It's dusty right now and that turned into small amounts of muck with a 5sec downpour - just enough to make it nasty. But the ceramic coating is doing its thing and looking good!
Coming from a Mustang Mach 1, as well as a current Porsche (Cayenne Turbo S e-hybrid) owner, this is very easy to drive in mundane situations but it's no Porsche. I chose the 5BW for my current road trip, though I miss the Raptor sometimes.
632.1 miles down so far. Still as phenomenal as ever. I let my buddy drive for a bit and that average MPG is not as impressive as it was previously. Perhaps oppositely impressive! Found me an old Ford to park next to while enjoying some seriously fresh Maryland crab.
This is my fourth Raptor, though my first G3. There's an incredibly active and knowledgeable forum dedicated to Raptors that I'm sure you can stumble upon. My username is the same there, too. Absolutely get the third generation over the second. 22 is the sweet spot before the 23s lost features.
Yes sir! Found it in mid-22 with 2,000 miles on it. Got it spiffed up and ready for any and all duties! Never leaving my possession is the plan!
For me, it's easily the single handedly best single vehicle choice.
I've read it so many times, printed it out, saved as PDF, and at this point I can probably quote it from memory fairly accurately 😂 Thank you for the information!
