Did you do a tune at all to see these gains in power?

I’ve gotten in the habit of taking my car in with low fuel when I have to and have a hidden AirTag as well. It sounds ridiculous but as a former valet, I understand temptation 🤣

I think the CF has a more active role in the performance of the CT4 as those spoilers are much more aggressive than the CF ones you can spec on the CT5. There are numerous articles quoting pounds of downforce on those but I haven’t seen the same data pointed out for the CT5.

@themodern6spdsedan - I don’t think you can go wrong either way you decide to go (turning radius aside) but if you prefer your cars with a more Euro/Tuner type of feel, the 4BW is your Huckleberry.

I had a 4BW and I’m here to tell you that the PERFECT sports sedan is a mix somewhere between the 4BW and 5BW… Now…first things first. It’s not like the 4BW had a stellar turning radius and I don’t live somewhere where I have to make a bunch of u-turns so I don’t think that’s a deciding...

Did you ever get this installed? I can't imagine that a 2650 AND more boost could get by without a tune...especially with all your other mods...?

Have you driven a 5V BW? You might miss the nimble nature of the CT4 BW…

Yes - but I was discouraged from buying them because I heard the customer service was bad. Funny thing though, I had a super rough go of ordering from ZL1addons and finally got a refund from them after 2 mos so I guess it can’t get much worse than that…?

I didn’t notice it. I was never a hard driver so I assumed that was part of the problem because it seems like cars that are tracked don’t have the issue.

They replaced the pads and rotors and the pads allegedly had an updated part number. I don’t have the car anymore so I’m not sure if it’s still a problem.

Interesting - so they don’t drain the oil or anything - they just press the plug in deeper.

Just coming from two previous Cadillacs with blind spot monitoring, it’s really not that great TBH. The seat vibrates (if you’re paying attention) and the little orange light that is sometimes visible/ sometimes isn’t flashes. I could see if the 2025 cars were missing 50 hp or something else...

To answer one of your original questions, the idle on these is kinda lumpy/“cammy” at lights. Not crazy, but definitely not a Lexus..

I’ve wondered about the IGLA on these cars. Notice anything weird since you’ve installed it? They have to cut wiring right?
