corsa seems to be the way to go for this motor. every clip i hear its heavenly. When people talk about the LID do they just modify the intake right ontop of the air filter? or do they just swap out the filter housing? I dont own one but want to in the next year or so.

ok great thank you for the insight. I would agree, and im sure the gt500 and mach1 feel similar that is for sure. Im not sure which package you had but im guessing the CFTP rides stiffer, but in my opinion it doesn't ride uncomfortably or like crap. Its firm and controlled. A lot of my issues...

awesome. is there a section on here that i missed where you elaborated a little bit on your experience with it? i see you will not be tracking the car, but how is the ride quality in tour mode and how is the overall feel in sport and track?

here is another review of the precision pack. Everyone seems to focus on the track part but don't comment about where people drive it most, on the street. I get that its a precision pack, but they say it has few compromises. I Am trying to decide which one is right from me coming from a CFTP...

26 paint colors are released already with no changes? little disappointed by that. There was a Tri Pearl white from 2019 that would look great and same with black diamond. A medium grey metallic of some sort would be a nice addition as well.

this color really comes to life in the sun! looks so much darker in other lights and on the builder

man that is such a beautiful car. I wish they would bring back the hood scoop. Its subtle but makes such a big difference in appearance.

how is that going? I currently have a 21 CFTP, Every winter I strongly consider trading it and ordering a 5BW. Car rides OK on the street but is a monster otherwise. Looks amazing too. But i do want the comfort of a caddy , seats especially and being able to cruise. Not sure which i would be...

as a gt500 owner i consider trading for a 5BW all the time but wonder if i would regret it. you seem to track quite often though... a jack of all trades car sounds nice

what is average wait time? does it vary widely amongst everyone? some guys wait 14 months and some can get it in 3-4 months?

also, according to the car and driver magazine the car is still super daily capable and doesnt give up much. this has to be the magneride programming. they must just open up in full comfort mode, even with the super stiff spring and bushing setup, but then have the ability to get extra stiiff...

Seeing This post is encouraging. Every winter i mentally battle of whether or not i should keep my GT500 CFTP. One day i will own a V, but its gonna be hard to get rid of the Shelby. I think i need to drive a 5BW. maybe i wont notice the 90 less HP. The Shelby definitely has its shortcomings...
