No Refresh for 2026 CT4-V Blackwing?

GMA says a lot of things it seems they are not much more than guesses at times. That is not a lot of units to amortize the cost of a refresh, so I think they might have guessed right on this one.

    Noise when accelerating

I don't hear a rattle, I hear air flow being disrupted.

    Noise when accelerating

With the mods you have, it sounds like the throttle body valve to me. Doesn't seem like it would be building any boost in that condition.

    CT4-V 4BW to C8, tempted

Is this the genuine sympathy version or the passive aggressive version? ;)

    CT4-V 4BW to C8, tempted

I can't add anything to the C8 experience, but familiar with your commute based on what you shared during your rodeo era (same timing as mine). In a world without manuals, I would totally consider a C8. Few have been in the back of my BW and there would likely be a Z06 in my garage instead of...

Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

I guess we all have a different fragility but there was never any question that this car was for me. Also, I'm coming from a long line of V's and similar GM/Holden product, so call me a super fan. I still stand on my comment which was specifically about needing to drive an M6 to decide if its...

CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

^^^And with a proper 3 pedal arrangement behind the "big" engine. Love to see that OEM's understand enthusiasts are about more than the performance metrics.

Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

I'm trying to put myself in shoes of someone driving my car...I'd be turned off, but not losing my mind over it. Someone drove mine to put gas in it and while I asked for it to be "dirty off the truck" it was washed and gassed when I got there. No harm done in the end. To the person that...

Decision Time, wouldn't mind the wisdom of the crowd

First thing I look at is the tires for signs of abuse. Used cars have plenty to tell you if you add up all the small clues. The new car fresh feeling is fleeting, a year from now the options will mean more to you than anything else. Also, sounds like you're paying MSRP on the '25? If you're...

Decision Time, wouldn't mind the wisdom of the crowd

You're not saying much about either car, but $87k sticker suggests the '24 has all the options and the '25 is lightly optioned and doesn't have a few bits you would like? What is your dilemma here? Is it the miles and unknowns about the '24? I get the emotional part of that, but the '24...

    In a dilemma… Help.

As a "girl dad" I'm very aware of stereotyping, female empowerment, and all that, but for the love of all things holy, 2 out of 3 cannot parallel park for the life of them. My older daughter and wife's rims look like a 36grit sanding wheel test product. My point is, 10x slower is better than...

    I'm a liar

@Jameson's Viggen Your membership here is hanging on by a thread, so the probation committee is requesting regular 7k rpm v-8 goodness videos while we evaluate your status.

Deal killer for getting ct5-v blackwing…winter set up?

Not that I condone abusing BW's by driving them in anything but fair weather, but don't you guys use snow/ice setting in the drive modes (not PTM but the regular drive modes). At Spring Mountain it really neutered the throttle map and probably some other settings to make it more manageable in...

    Corsa Xtreme Exhaust issue

You didn't say anything about the car, is it indicating these issues? If not, these alerts will likely go away on the app. The app sometimes needs to be refreshed. Also, if you've had other Cadillac products in the past or currently have them, that can cause issues too.

Deal killer for getting ct5-v blackwing…winter set up?

I don't live in the snow so I can't add anything meaningful (story of my life), but if I had a time machine I would go back and check that $9-f'ing-thousand-dollar CCB option!! I really made a mistake there.

How the heck do I replace the battery!

Why would you remove it just for being dead? You can use the lugs under the hood to jump/booster box or connect a charger. I installed a NOCO on board battery maintainer under the hood. Can't even tell its there when not in use.

    Suspension question

Where the times at? Seems like a lot of feels in this thread and not a lot of lap time data. It’s cool if it feels better, but that doesn’t mean faster times or optimal tire wear are the outcome for 98% street life.
