The dealer who placed the order should have selected the smog options(automatic?) based on your home address. It will also trigger a front license plate holder which hopefully still be bagged in the trunk when you pick up the car.
I’m toward the end of process of registering mine now. You’ll need to have a VIN verification done which can be done by the DMV or CHP or private companies that do it. I went with the latter for speed. You’ll also need a smog check as mentioned and pay any additional sales tax if the rate...
Too bad they didn’t include a photo of a major point of assembly for the specific car eg, where the body was mated to the chassis sort of like the photos taken on a roller coaster.
Maybe a different kind of car, in price and collectibly speaking, but Ford sent gift packages that among other things included a scale (zinc?) flat plane crank and stand with the chassis number for each of the thousands of GT350s they sold and had a track day offered too (which also had a...
Not to nitpick ;) but the B-2 derived more from the YB-49/35 + tacit blue + software to keep it in the air and the B-21 Raider will be the evolution of the B-2. (I was a lead S/W Engineer at Northrop ASD/B2 division for 8 years in Pico Rivera, CA at the former Ford factory just to loop it back...
“Lane Keep Assist (LKA) uses a forward-looking camera mounted behind the windshield in front of the inside rear-view mirror and works when the vehicle is in a Forward gear and driving from 37-112 mph (60-180 km/h).”
I’ve always wondered what would happen if a bug explodes in front of the camera...
I applied for financing a week before my 7/19 build date to get pre-approved. Little did I know that I wouldn't get the car until 10/5 so the application expired 60 days after. Sometimes they can extend for another 60 days but it may hit your credit record again. My situation is more...
Sounds like they've already passed the self loosening oil filter phase and addressed that but still wouldn't want to be an early adopter. So, far no issues with my GT350 but I waited until 2020 to order to get all of the refinements.🤞
Doesn't look promising. They may not have enough magnesium to produce aluminum parts soon.

Also noticed this while digging through TSBs:
#N212346870 - Service Update - Front Brake Rotors Improperly Installed
Certain 2022 model year Cadillac CT5 vehicles, equipped with carbon ceramic rotors (RPO J57), may have the front rotors installed on opposite sides.
For anyone else that has bought their vehicle in another state and has to have an emissions test when registering: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10171875-9999.pdf
" When presenting a new vehicle for the California Smog Inspection or for a Smog Inspection in another State, some...
I only had time to do the one day and with how hot it was that was enough. Some of the GT350s were the early model Rs without A/C. I think the 2nd day, if you add that on, is done using the Mustang GT rather than the GT350 used for the complimentary one day. The GT350s are probably gone by now...
