May 9 - Instrument cluster threw another Service warning this morning. Will the annoyances with this car never end?! I guess the good news is that may dealer has one in stock because the service manager ordered it after the first warning because he could not find any source of the problem...

Just sold my 2017 M2 and it did have a small tank but my CT4V BW rivals it easily - full tank does not even go 300 mi.

Dealer told me today that they bought some sort of ramps for jacking up 4BWs. It's so low that their standard four point lifts don't fit well under the car. Last time I was in, in order not to scratch the side skirts, I watched the tech jack up the car to get it on the lift! Not sure where he...

That is not a pic of the underside of a 4BW. There is no cross member like that.

Yet more frustration - tail light clips did't come in and the service manager was telling me a different story from the service advisor. Service manager tells me there is no difference in the two new tail lights but just needed new clips. It appears that GM changed suppliers on the tail lights -...

Update: dealer ordered 2 new taillights. They now tell me that gm changed the mounts and they didn’t have clips they needed so they had to order them and they need to keep my car. I was like just put the old ones back in but they waited until 5pm to tell me and the tech left of course. Strange...

Service manager convinced me that replacing rusted struts is the way to go. Not a hard item to replace. He is ordering new ones and is have the entire underside of the car detailed.

Bumming on that idea, but I hear you. I’m pretty sure you have to let them try to fix.

I will check fuses tonight and throw it on the trickle charger. 774 miles on the odometer. It was 45 degrees and I was driving to work at divided highway speeds.

Got the Service Instrument Cluster pop up today. Everything is still working. Taking in tomorrow to have tail lights replaced. Really want to love this car but so far it’s been a challenge. I’d really rather not have them install a whole new cluster. I know they will screw something up.

Not for me. I could care less about whether the pinch weld is used or if there is a pinch weld adaptor or if there is another place on the car to use (like this CT4 it turns out). I could see nothing in headlights. Phew

Same issue here. Not condensation. Glue streaks and crazing. Two new tail lights on order. No dealer pushback. But now I have to check my headlights. How are all these defects getting through Cadillac QC?
