There are 7 nuts that have to be removed from inside the truck once you remove the liner. Beware, the outer two have these weird plastic clips on them and are a PITA to get off. Once you do that, you have to get through the two-way tape, and there is a lot of it. Patience and elbow grease need...
I can confirm that you DO NOT have to drill into the non-CF1 decklid. I bought an OE CF1 spoiler on ebay and it bolted right up. Getting the factory spoiler off the car to begin with sucked, but the other one went on without issue.
I've been trying with a couple dealers to get one and they are telling me that they cant officially order yet because CF is on constraint...Can anyone confirm the same or has anybody officially got one ordered??
I believe they group you by skill and pace. I was in a three car group with two 5s and they were no faster around that track than me. They’d pull away in the straight and I’d reel them back in during the technical parts.
I just got my car back from a correction and coating yesterday and I have a VERY similar divot thing on my hood. Mine is closer to the drivers side edge much further back. Super odd. I'll try to throw a picture up here later, but I think it looks damn near identical to yours.
It was only like 6 years ago, no big deal haha...but seriously, lots of stick on versions on eBay now unfortunately. The only thing I could find that was close to what I installed is linked below. It seems to have an area to screw into, but I really have no idea how accurate that is...
Definitely not, lol. I had to pull the whole mirror assembly apart to remove the factory cap and screw the carbon one back on. Removing the mirror glass is quite a thrill!
I don’t think this is correct. You can buy those two “molded-in splitters” separately and mine sure look like they’re screwed in. Also, I saw a post on Facebook or something where somebody with a regular V bought those and installed them on his car.
With that said, remove those and you...
So I decided to check mine for this too just because, and mine has this same issue. Mine is not nearly as bad as yours and I essentially have to open the hood to see it, but it’s very odd that it’s obviously a recurring thing during production.
I’ll see how your inspection goes and then see...
The rear wheel well arches are the worst on my car as well. On both sides, it looks like little pinholes in the clear. Not to mention the clear is THICK in that area. I'm not sure what I want to do with it. I might just leave it, no one notices it but me.
I had something very similar with my '16 ATS-V. Would fill up my big garage with white smoke. Dealer could never figure it out. Finally I found some service bulletin regarding some kind of contamination that got into a batch of heads that would cause a lot of smoke. Ended up having to replace my...
I just changed my cars' oil for the first time last week at 650 miles before an autoX event (because I'm definitely not waiting the full 1500...) and my filter was freaking on there. Nothing I could do would get it to budge until I brought out the channellocks. I'm not mechanically inclined so...
