That's a nice perk. I bet they'll have the track Blackwings ready by then, but they may reserve any extra semi-conductors for other orders at this point. My distance from local chapters has kept me at bay from joining the V-Club, but it does sound like it still offers value for the purchase.

If it's just going to require me paying for a flight to Vegas and rental car to the track, I'm definitely going to take advantage of it. Slightly nervous about my lack of track experience, but im sure the instructors will take that into account.

Ah thats a major relief for me then. Happy I just had that mixed up. I'll definitely be booking a flight for that then. Thanks for the clarification.

How many of you all have participated in the driving school at Spring Mountain? I am not really on the fence about it, but I think I read that it would be our responsibility to get the vehicle to the track. That's nearly 5k miles round trip for me, so I'm debating having the car shipped, but...

    Fuel Economy

I'm not 100% of this, but I thought the CTS-V gas guzzler was $1,700 at the end of its run. The 6-speed ct5 blackwing gets slightly worse mileage, so I'm anticipating $1,700 as the minimum. Be happy to be wrong though.

    Frustrated? I'm Not

Was the gas guzzler for the 2019 CTS-V $1,300? It looks like the current ZL1 is $1,700, so I'd expect it will be at least that amount. Possibly more with because the CT5 will be a bit heavier and get slightly worse MPG? Also possibly higher for a 2022 model year vs 2021, but I dont know the...

    Video: CT5-V Blackwing startup

This is the first I've heard of August, but that sounds good if it's true. I've seen the "late summer" quite a bit, so I was internally preparing for an end of September or early October time-frame. August would be fantastic.

    Frustrated? I'm Not

I do not think we are really disagreeing on anything significant. More detailed or available marketing information would be a good thing to have. However, that lack of information is immaterial for me in the grand scheme of things. I trust Cadillac to deliver the goods, or I wouldn't have...

    Frustrated? I'm Not

I am not frustrated. Just really excited to get a manual transmission, magnetic ride, supercharged v8 in a luxury sedan. I love that the team at Cadillac is making it available while everyone else is moving on. It's my first Cadillac, and I plan on driving it for a long time. I'm not...

    Blackwing Production Turn-Around

If they really do begin production on the 5th of July, I am still anticipating that it'll take until early August before you start seeing some of the first deliveries. I've never been through this process though, and I'd be happy to be wrong about that. My general expectation for my order is...
