I took mine off last year when I installed the sequential brake/signal lights. I am pretty sure that you must pop off the square black cover where the latch is. You will see a very small notch. Then IIRC you will see some bolts. Also, you must pop off the covers where the cargo latches are...
I saw a few years ago that a guy left his Blackwing with a valet parker and the valet tried to pull away from the curb to make a u-turn before the next oncoming car arrived. I guess he thought that the car would make the turn and he was wrong. The Blackwing got t-boned and totalled.
I have 5 cars. I need memo books kept for each vehicle. It gets confusing trying to keep track of all the maintenance due. I usually do get my work done at the local dealerships, just to keep the Car Fax and their computer systems up to date on things done. I have found that...
My project vehicle is my 1967 Cadillac deVille convertible. My Dad bought it new in 67 and gave it to me in 1976 when I was 12. Its a project because I am forever trying to keep it running in as good as condition as I can. It costs me a small fortune every year. Parts are almost impossible...
Just got back from beautiful Aruba. Gonna pull the covers off my 67' deVille convertible and the 5BW and give them a foam cannon bath and take them for a ride. Today is 75* and sunshine !
The only Cadillac's I saw in Aruba were the airport limo taxis. The sunshine and heat down there beat the...
I have only done cosmetic mods. Don't really plan on doing anything performance wise. I do like my sequential signal/brake lights that I installed last year.
I've decide to buy that new fangled Cadillac Celestiq. I'm gonna drop $300,000+ and then finance the the car for 30 years (like a mortgage) so I can save on all that gas.
I did have this same thing happen on my drivers side and I kept a watch on it and it hasn't happened in 2 years. I took a photo on my phone to keep for future reference if I needed a trip to the dealer.
Let us know if they find an issue.
The way I look at it....I paid $2500 for a MOPAR lifetime warranty on my Dodge Challenger, literally 2 weeks before they ended the program. Of course, after 11 years of ownership, I have had nothing go wrong with the car ! 🙏 I am kind of hoping that I am paying $1800 for a 7 yr/56000 warranty...
My Dad always said..."a fool and their money are soon parted".

My ONLY regret was not getting the Performance Data Recorder. Did not need any of that expensive carbon fiber. I just 3M wrapped what could have been carbon fiber and saved myself a ton of money and worries if I were to damage the parts, that you will have a helluva time replacing, if damaged.
I was told that they raise prices 2x per year. The first price increase was slated to increase on May 1st. I paid on April 29th. The next one may occur in October.
Make sure that they give you your "tomahawks" in the trunk. They are small metal air deflectors that came with 2022's in case you wanted to track your car. They were to add as air deflectors onto your brakes. IDK if they still use them after 2023.
