Unfortunately it doesn't seem that the used prices reflect the use. The c8s they have now are all aligned with the general market prices so it isn't really like you can get them any cheaper than one with similar mileage that wasn't tracked.
There is the lifetime engine rev tracker on both the...
You just dump the clutch. Make sure you are in any PTM mode and then scroll over to launch control (drive mode doesn't matter)
If you want to customize the settings you'll have to be in track mode.
It has to do with decel fuel cut off (DFCO). When you let off the gas in gear most cars with cut the fuel supply such that you spin the engine using the cars momentum. That's why some people suggest letting off the gas in gear to help slow down (vs say coasting in N). I think in the BW DFCO...
Yooo same hellcat combo as I had. I never really saw the orange calipers. What interior color? Mine was red
But I honestly don't miss the hellcat nearly as much as I thought I might. To me the power was overkill for the street (and tires) and aside from some highway pulls I more or less was...
Good stuff! I was between that and a white one they had but wasn't able to get down where I wanted at the time. Sounds like you probably landed close though
Congrats, like the color combo for sure
I'm in NJ as well. NJMP is probably your best bet. There was Atco too but that closed suddenly. I'm interested in trying some track days in the future. A friend of mine races and instructs at NJMP and you can take your car out in between sessions with an...
Thanks yeah I have similar experiences to that thread as well when just in gear which I attributed to software for anti stall etc.
The blip in neutral I can only attribute to rev match just thinking I'm getting ready for a downshift. I haven't figured out if doing it at lower rev ranges or...
With the rev match turned on, I get pretty aggressive throttle blips when I shift into neutral. Anyone figure out how to avoid this (other than being a better driver and not using rev match) ?
I paid $4k under MSRP about 2 months ago and I shopped around a good bit. My VIN had $2k rebate, so with it now moving to $4k I think $6k under MSRP is a good target (in line w some recent purchases) with the rebate.
I assume you're thinking purchase v leasing, but you may want to see what the...
You guys think the roll in 2nd is a disadvantage? I commented to see why it's always like that, but the Z and supra top out in 1st less than 40mph so it makes sense for them. I feel like for the BW a 30 roll is a first gear race. In the one from closer to 40 the BW does better.
Also, in the...
Thanks for the information. Any negative experiences with the pad swaps?
Possible considerations for me would be weather the higher heat generating sintered material would be a challenge for the braking system (fluid etc) especially since there isn't direct temperature monitoring. There is a...
Interested in 2 & 3, curious how the brake by wire and general brake monitoring for track use (since there are no dedicated thermal sensors) may be accomplished outside of the stock setup
What was the MSRP there? The average depreciation across the industry is 20% year 1, 15% each year thereafter. That's based on fair market value vs trade in as well. So for an $85k car two years later that'd be $58k market value. Dealers aim for ~20% return so on a $53k trade they'll like sell...
On one side the larger discounts and slower selling inventory people are noticing may be concerning, but some other perspectives -
1) It seems somewhat of a consistency across the industry now, even for some of the more mainstream, 2020 'all the rage' type vehicles. Major discounts on the Mach...
