Are the CF1 and CF2 constraints at zero? Or are the building a few (other than the 120th cars) at some rate more than zero?
From tracking corvetteforum.com, looks like the carbon bits there are also hard to come by for the Z06, which will mean they can't sell very many Z07 packaged cars either...
I'm a little confused. You said the dealership wasn't great, but your salesperson was? seems that your salesperson is the window into that dealership but doesn't seem to be that both can co-exist.
Heritage wanted $25K over and dropped to $10K when I pushed back. Wrapping up a deal at MSRP now with another, but non-local, dealer. Name to come after deal is actually signed.
Yes, the carbon aero options. I don't mind waiting till the packages are available to get the car and on your advice, I'm likely going to add PDR once they have allocation.
Not sure, but it was the crash in the 1LE ZL1. My SM has so little power that you can go through there at WOT from T4a to T10.
I've always said that I wouldn't need the PDR - and I don't think I'll track this car enough to use it regularly. And I don't want to crash this car - but you have me...
How easy is it (and does it make sense) to swap to steels when you have to swap rotors? I know a lot of corvette guys swapped their CCBs for steel and put the CCBs on the shelf.
Just watched your video. Sounds like you got PDR. Do you recommend it? I currently run a Garmin Catalyst, which...
Sorry for the off topic questions, but it seems you guys are my people - you'd know the answers to these questions: Are you guys running CCBs or steel? How often are you going through rotors (as in how many track days)? What track pad are you guys running? If you bought CCB (or steel), do you...
I actually agree with you 100%. For GM cars equipped with Super Cruise, for example, GM absolutely uses and tracks your eye movements and will record and use that against the owner, if there's ever a lawsuit.
I had a Spark EV, once upon a time, and it was creepy as hell to get emails telling me...
I'm considering the all weather mats (and trunk mat) and the black mirror caps. 1) do you get the base items with the car too? (so, the carpeted floor mats and the body color mirror caps).
Am I better off going aftermarket, from a price and quality perspective?
Just had two conversations with two Atlanta area dealers - one wanted $10 over and one wanted 25 over. I thought it was hilarious since both had inbound cars coming in that weren't pre-sold - ie, demand ain't what it used to be. I won't out them till conversations are dead, which they both...
What Tesla did this happen with? My 18 Model 3 Performance had Michelin and my 22 has Pirellis. I've only seen continentals on 19" rim vehicles (non-peformance model 3s with the 19" "stilleto" wheels option).
Any noise "requirements" would have come from the emperor of Mars, not the feds.
Ah...
So stupid. Remember that GM tried this in January and it made zero difference. Their dealers are the core of the problem. My friend tried to put a deposit on a z06 with hendrick - told ADM required. Eff you GM - talk to your dealers first.
Easily under 2 min once you're comfortable with it.
One suggestion - you are not linearly applying the throttle - T10 is the most obvious example. You should not have to back out of the throttle after application as you increase throttle. Go 10% to 20 to 30, etc. But don't go 20%, to 5% to...
