Our Cadillac V-Club chapter was given a tour of the Corsa facilities on Friday. It was very impressive, and Carl Lemmerman Jr., (Corsa Produce Manager) was a terrific and gracious host. I got many photos on the tour, but I'll try to post here the specific ones for the 4 and 5 Blackwings. Our...
I think it was a mistake using a clay bar and polishing compound on ceramic. I think synthetic clay towels are OK used with lubricant, but not a true clay bar. I have a spray bottle with diluted rinseless wash for the occasional bird dropping. I'm not sure what the best plan is for a stain that...
Carcover.com has been mentioned in another thread. For anyone looking for a car cover, they have a 60% off Labor Day sale, and you can stack a discount code CARSPONSORS for more off. And free shipping. Here's the result in the top Black Satin cover:
They say the offset spacer is optional, and I didn't use it. It's only 2-3 mm different from OEM so you're not going to see a difference, and there are no brake or suspension conflicts. You can email them and they'll give you all the information you need.
No check engine codes yet? Some folks have seen them with the MAF, but it seems to happen in cooler weather so maybe you haven't had those conditions in this summer weather.
I'm using: Apex VS-5RS 18x9" ET30 Wheels & Apex VS-5RS 18x9.5" ET35 Wheels with the stock tires. The fronts are about identical offset, but the rear push out about 1/2" or so, but don't have any clearance issues. The OEM offset is 28 front and 48 rear. The Apex use hub spacers but they are...
They'll have a course map showing where the braking should happen and what gears to use. The hand numbering on my attachment is gears for manual. They also put on the presentation board the gears for auto which use more gears. As others said, you're usually only using 3rd and 4th for manual, and...
Close race, but while that slotted the CT5 in at #13 on the U-drag leaderboard, I was shocked at #12 on the list🤯

Did you check the online service manual? It will have diagrams of the seat components (Master Electrical Component List - Component Locations - Document ID: 5752806, 5752805, 5752804, 5752803) and the wiring for the pin connections. That might give you an idea what's different between the two...
If you go Apex, watch for the sales. The July 4th sale just ended, but you can save a lot if you wait for the next one. I got mine on Black Friday, not sure if they have another between now and then. You can see the sale details in the other thread Apex Wheels | 4th of July Sale: Up to 25% off +...
Check out the Tire Rack review of Falken Azenis FK460 A/S. I have them for my cold weather set. I only used them for about three months so far before I put the original summers back on, but I didn't push them when I had them on. I kind of doubt I will anyway when the temps are freezing or below...
Getting off-topic here, and I don't want to come across as confrontational or anything, but I only had a stage 1 level tune on a 2009 GLI and I couldn't keep the front wheels from breaking loose from a start. I don't know how you can get much traction with 400 hp and I only had about 250-260...
