This has been my understanding based on the posts in this thread. In the past, GM baked the gas guzzler tax into the MSRP of the vehicle and the number was listed within the fuel economy section. Moving forward, it will be listed as a separate line item and MSRP will be increasing accordingly.

My local dealer is offering 3k discount on their instock 4BW autos inaddition to the 2k incentive from GM. So the market is definitely shifting.

Was the original MSRP 90k or 110k. And what are the miles on the odometer 1k or 50k.

I sold my G80 M3 after owning it for a brief period as it was too refined for my liking and the overall driver feel was a let down. Its a perfect vehicle for someone who needs a fast, luxurious DD. Also, iD8 is a big turn off for me and this was the only reason i rushed to order a MY22.

Dealer in OPs post have several 4BW autos, one with 13k discount, some with 5-6k and few without any which is really inconsistant. Even if the 13k discount is true, it might a one off dealer who might be trying to clear his inventory and would say the entire 4BW market is going down that bad...

15k off 4BW and under MSRP deals on 5BW? Can you share those leads. Also when you say under MSRP for 5BW, is it $500 or $5000 off MSRP?

With another phone call, they might say "sorry, BWs are excluded, just checked with my manager".

I saw the miles in the listing as well and things were not adding up (low miles & dealer demo status on all vehicles but one). A nearby dealer has several 4BWs for 5k discount and those vehicles didnt have any additional tags on them for their discount.

Looks like all vehicles with those discounts are listed as dealer demos. Hope there isnt a catch behind these numbers.
