Hello all,
Quick question to anyone with a CT4V blackwing, or maybe any car that has these blue o-rings around the oil reservoir fill cap, does yours look like mine? Seems the blue is some kind of coating on top of the O-ring material, and mine is coming off, and is actually leaving deposits of...
Update on my squeak, they are telling me a turbo needs to be replaced. I have 2400 miles. Obviously not thrilled, but this is what warranties are for :)
Yes, I pulled the bumper. right underneath the headlight it a clip that needs to be released with just force. I got my hand as close as possible to that clip and shook/wiggled till it came loose. It did take a good amount of force tho, more than I was originally comfortable with lol
Just called to make an appointment and was told since I didn't buy the car through them, I wouldn't be able to get a loaner.
Dealership experience is as bad as people chock it up to it seems lol.
My decision was veeeeeeeeeeery simple. I drove both cars. BMW first, then the 4BW. I made two shifts with the 4BW's gear box and I knew what I was buying.
4BW M6>M3 M6 all day
If you drive an automatic...I think the distance between the two shrinks quite a bit.
I'm at 2k miles. 2024 4BW. Definitely wasn't there 500 miles ago. Is this normal? You will hear a squeak right at throttle tip in. Hot, cold, doesn't matter. Throttle response and rpm ramp is a little shudderry/not smooth but I was told this aspect atleast is a little normal.
Hard to hear by...
This is going to sound stupid....but has anyone found good angles for the CT4V Blackwing? I feel like every picture I take doesn't do the car justice. I've been told multiple times when someone sees my car for the first time that it looks completely different (and better) than the photos I sent...
on the video it is hard to tell, but it seems like they really extend out past the mirrors. I'm leaning towards not doing it for that reason....you know....*aesthetics*

Has anyone installed these? Curious about how they look and how easy they are to install. Thanks
Went to a show this sunday morning with my 4BW at Smithhaven mall parking lot in long island new york, didn't see another blackwing there, just an ATS-V. Good show tho!
While I agree it's kind of par for the course with a luxury performance car. Unless you fold down the back seats and roll down the windows the sound insulation is going to do it's job.
If you look at their current offerings, they usually sell 3 options, touring, track, or valved. So I assume the same kind of offering would be expected. The exhaust tips are an easy swap/change if you want to keep the OEM ones.
