I feel like this is something that needs to be disclosed by the dealer to a potential buyer.
I was looking at used Z06s and I didn’t realize Chevy/GM has been canceling warranties on cars that have been sold before the first owner had them for six months. It was one of their ways to try and...
I’m legit curious as well. I only read it once and need to reread it, but I thought the explanation in the owners manual was fairly confusing.
I’ve been fortunate though. Did the break in oil and diff change around 500 miles and at 7k it’s only halfway down the first square on the dipstick.
Very nice! I was tempted by a used dark blue one that was at our local dealer. They had it at 90k then so I passed on it for my CT4V BW. They ended up selling it at 75k though, had it been that when I was looking last summer, I would’ve been tempted a lot more to try it out.
That is weird the various experiences people have with this. I have 128 GB in both the Caddy and Chevy. Never had to format either and they work perfectly right out of the packaging. Did you get the one with 10 and a circle around it on the packaging? That was the kind I read in owners manual to...
When I went looking for a third fun/sports car, I admit that I wanted one with an N/A engine and a manual. This obviously really lowered the number of cars available to me in the market. I had it down to a Camaro SS 1LE, Dark Horse or Cayman GTS 4.0.
I’m glad I didn’t stick to that as I...
As many have said the 4VBWs will probably mirror the ATSVs. They’ll drop and then level off in the 40s to low 50s for nice, lower mileage examples. Mine will probably have 50-70k miles on it when I’m done with it so it won’t be one of those. I knew resale was going to suck on it, but I love...
I have both now, but the 4VBW is an A10 and the C8 is a Z06. It would be pretty tough to cross shop them as they are (captain obvious) two very very different vehicles.
If you only want a manual, then you know the only choice is a BW. The 4VBW is one of the best sedans I’ve ever driven/lived...
Gawd, nothing more fun/hypocritical than reading people constantly whining about money on a luxury car forum(s), where people own 100k plus toys. Rennlist was the worst for this.
What is your actual point to this line of thought? You are sorry you are successful because it is stressful to...
Yup, that’s the real problem in the US today. People not being nuanced enough to know how hard it is to manage a portfolio.
If you want to be poor, you can do it and experience it if you really want to.
After nearly being homeless as a teenager and in my very early twenties, I’ll take mo money mo problems over no money still even mo problems. Money gives you and your family options. No money obviously decreases those options substantially.
Congrats! I just bought C8 Z06 last week to go with my 4V BW. Haven’t had a lot of time to get into it, but it is definitely a beast and obviously a fun pairing of cars. Agreed OP, I feel very lucky/fortunate in many ways, specifically family wise, but material wise it is definitely a lot of fun...
While very entertaining to read the back and forth here, GM is going to do absolutely nothing in regards to the power and definitely not going to do an engine change on the 4VBW. 8-9 years of zero changes in that department with the Camaro has made that abundantly clear.
But, continue, it is...
As a previous post said, sales are terrible and resale values have tanked. It’s a bit selfish, but if they stop production now, it’ll help the value increase and oddly make them more desirable to future buyers.
Ok, how about trying to just have a little bit of fun? I’ve been on a lot of forums that are way too serious. This place (if you go with the flow) is/can be a lot of fun.
