    2023 CT5 Blackwing engine failure

You were lucky, mine took months from jumping through their hoops to even get them to acknowledge it needed a new engine…….to actually getting one and getting it in the car. I was lucky though and had a very good dealer. Ford finally did right by me, but it was probably four months in total. I...

    2023 CT5 Blackwing engine failure

@CT5BWenthusiast, I am sorry for what you are going through as it does suck (had the same issue with Ford on a GT350). But, I think the LT4 is a very mature/reliable engine and you’d probably be surprised how many haven’t failed. I’ve had two ZL1s and been on the ZL1 Camaro forums for years...

I wanted to do “BWANG” but my wife said no.

Cadillac Smart Driver and Privacy Concerns

While I still believe their is really nothing you can do about this, it is complete horse hockey (dating myself, Colonel Potter quote to keep it clean), what GM and other car manufacturers/pretty much every big business is doing with data. Especially if you turn it off/opt out, it should stay...

    R33 GTR as 4BW companion?

I like JDM cars, but I was never into the Skyline or S2000 for that matter. I would love a resto modded manual 240/280z though. Agree, if you can swing it, go for it, have some fun! Even with inflated prices, if you don’t go nuts on the mileage I wouldn’t think you’d get crushed on resale...

    4BW LF4 Oil Consumption

Did my own break in oil/diff change just shy of 1500 miles and now did the second one at just over 7k. It used about a 1/4 of a quart in that 5500 miles so not bad at all as far as I’m concerned. Especially considering how much fun I had with it during that time. My car is an A10 though.

    Quality Dealer Service

Just took my 4V BW in to the dealer for the free service. I did the original oil change just shy of 1500 miles and now have 7k. They shorted it by what looks like 3/4 of a quart. 🙄 Not the end of the world, but it is the norm now to have things done wrong instead of done right. Frustrating too...

    New Owner CT4 BW

Aside from how it looks after a couple of weeks, I cant stand the feel of alcantara. I also think it is more slippery and need driving gloves like someone else mentioned when I drive aggressively. My leather replacement steering wheel can’t come fast enough for my ‘Vette.

    New Owner CT4 BW

I used to, not anymore, I really love the A10 in these things. Which is kind of weird because I wasn’t a huge fan of it in my ZL1. It feels like to me they've revised some programming as it feels smoother when I want it to be…..Then conversely more exciting/harsher in a good way in the...

    Gorgeous, congrats!

Would you recommend this as a "family Corvette"?

I always thought of the 5V BWs as more of an updated four door ZL1 due to weight and nearly identical powertrains. Which, isn’t a bad thing!

    5BW daily driver

Sorry in advance OP, but these threads always crack me up. Of course people DD these, that’s what they are built for! Its one of the best, comfiest GT sedans ever made. And another of course, gas mileage will suck for the most part as you have a big a** SC V8 in front of you! Drive it, have fun!

Can’t disagree with that. Every chance I get I do opt out of apps tracking me FWIW even though I know it is fairly futile.

Cadillac Smart Driver and Privacy Concerns

I know this won’t be a popular response with this crowd, but here are my thoughts no one asked for. I’ve given up on trying to keep everything private, with carrying a cell phone everywhere like most people do, privacy is a thing of a past. Even if you disable everything from OnStar they still...
