I'm sad my car wasn't involved but I get it. The minute I saw Sam Car Legion had this car from the Press Fleet, I knew it would get passed around. It's far more convenient for TH to use a press car than use a car from private hands.
Oddly, I see a lot of parallels in how they treated the ATS becoming the CT4 in the change of 6th to 7th gen Mustang.
Both have the glass/roof hard points unchanged, a focus on updating the interior, updated Mag ride and small improvements to suspension/brakes etc.
I still don't think they've LL'd the 4 to it's potential. GM's ran 'em to 2.52.
The new Mustang is over 39xxlbs. So the 20hp over the Mach1 won't do anything. I think they are running Trofeo Rs though which will make the difference. Be damn certain, the Trofeos would cut time off a BlackWing...
32mph in 2nd gear is hurting the BW more than the other cars due to the gearing. He also didn't take traction control completely off so it might have been cutting power, especially if the track was a little damp.
Yes, the BlackWing for all intents and purposes is a refreshed ATS-V. But what can affect values is the BW is seen as a send off, a last hurrah of an ICE car, especially one with a manual. We've seen how the last of something can hold value better than others...example the last air cooled 911...

The thing to remember is, the cars now cost $2500+ more than '22. So employee pricing wouldn't do much in my case. The base C8 is $68k now. But I think the C8 and Lyriq are still excluded.
Seats are designed to hit the largest ergonomic range as possible. That runs from about the 5th percentile female to 95th percentile male. So maybe 5ft to 6ft'5. As happens with my wife at 5ft tall, the bottom of the ergonomics scale, it's not quite a fit for her to reach the clutch pedal at...
