You're funny. I'm lying? K
Why would you see me at unveilings or events?
I work in branded advanced. Nothing I've worked on has seen light of day, not until the August 9th reveal of Escalade IQ.
You are blabbering about what if's and what should be's. I live in reality of bringing a car...
Stupid post...by someone who is in meetings to produce cars on a daily basis at the company in question.
Vs the guy on a car forum basically saying "catch me outside" haha.
And lastly, the development money to MAKE an LT1-4 fit in a 4 would make it cost what a 5 does.
So tired of the "if the 4 has a V8..." Diatribe. Yes, you could make one for Sema, cut away shit. You can make anything fit. But make it work for production? Yeah, and keep the price the same...
Everything thing you're talking about to me, is not emblematic of the cars, but the environment/economy cooling drastically.
This isn't a Cadillac issue. It's the market.
I absolutely don't need a 5th car. I was very tempted then reminded myself of 6-7% interest and totally cooled my jets.
Autotrader is not an accurate measure of inventory. The dealer sites populate Autotrader listings with cars that aren't available for dealer stock.
Also, moving the goal post of the point about the Camaro. We were talking about sales numbers. The BlackWing is a CT4, and those sales numbers...
Those are the right spacers.
My setup is for winter and square setup isn't ideal for summer.
But the e28 9.5" square, the poke in the rear is no issue. The only thing on my setup I don't like is the square 255/35s mean the rear wheel gap is increased. If you ran an 275/35 rear, you're set...
I have the basement-though I have a Bendpak Lift and some dealership signs in my garage which are cool too. Here is part one & two of the collection tour from about a year ago. It has grown by about 100 cars since then. This years video coming in September will show some nice upgrades.
Do you mean a run of custom cars like a small batch of BlackWings?
I have a contact that has a diecast factory and he asked for a list of my most wanted 1:18 diecast cars currently not made. I put both BlackWings on that list.
It comes down to $$$ and how development dollars get spread throughout a program. There are meetings where one feature is axed in negotiation for another. I've seen something like well, we can give up accent lighting in the rear door panel in exchange for the double stitch on the IP. It's $$$...
The Type R is a 6mt that has the $$$ resources to develop such features because the BASE model which sells in large volumes is offered in a 6mt.
Find the 6mt in the lineup outside the BlackWing...oh wait lol
