The Z06 is exactly the type of special I was looking for. Although it would be better in a manual I'm not complaining about DCT. I just hope the price doesn't get too high by the time my name is called. #23 at a dealer who expects to see 2-3 per year. With drop offs I'm hoping I'll see one in...
Not a blackwing but someone with an auto 5BW try this Rapid Exit out (starts at 3:45) .. curious if they will, or maybe already have, bring this over to the blackwings
It's definitely smaller but I wouldn't say a lot. Perception of climbing in vs sliding in. I couldn't fit anyone behind me in either car.
I certainly appreciate a small 4 door more than a small 2 door for what its worth. Looks aside (although the 4BW looks better IMO)
You'd be surprised. The M2 really is the proper comparison despite what GM marketing team wants to target.
Couldn't fit this last part in the picture.
Trunk Volume
M2 - 13.8 ft³
CT4 - 10.7 ft³
why are so many people in this thread so defensive. OP is literally asking for thoughts. Not saying one is better than the other, not trying to start some war. If you have an A10 share your thoughts of the transmission. Positives, Negatives, Wishes. Why is that so hard?
There are some cars he manages to get better times in the manual. Depends on gearing. I think the 4 would have a better shot at beating it's auto twin opposed to the 5
Hyundai N cars are DCT so it's not really the same comparison. If it's a last gen M car it's also a DCT. I will give bmw props though they do impressive tuning on the ZF8 but I still wouldn't choose it over a manual or DCT if they gave me a choice.
At least it's not Lexus tuning. I hated the...
it's usually the same complaint from me, upshifts are fine, downshifts take a full second before it responds to the paddle. Maybe because I'm not on the brake? but I don't always brake to downshift, sometimes I'm just coasting waiting for an opportunity to downshift and make a pass.
Limited...
I only have one experience with the A10 and that's a Camaro SS I test drove and it personally wasn't for me. I felt like it was hunting gears too much and the paddles weren't as responsive as I would have liked. I'm sure it's smooth when you want it to be and quick if your foot is flat. But for...
I feel like most of the parts that make up the average Jeep have been used since like 2005.. I also feel like they don't have a bunch of technology in them.. but that's definitely my bias speaking. I don't research them cause I'd never buy a FCA product (or whatever they are now)
@1StunnaV can you please take this guy's order so he can shut up about this? He'll get his car in 2025 or later but at least we won't have to read him post the same story over and over again since you will have taken his order
Those standard options are (hopefully) going to keep it cheap, relatively speaking. Although the idea of a M car from Mexico doesn't have the same ring to it, I'll take a lower than expected price tag from the cost cutting.
Now if they are cutting costs and still setting high base prices and...
I'm #4 at my dealer and expected to be in the first round. Honestly it'll depend on the cost of it. If I'm looking at 80k with options then no way.
It's the driving experience I'm looking for. I've already got my mind set on a F87 CS or Cayman GT4. This is a "good enough" until those get into a...
Bringing this thread back around since the G87 M2 was just leaked.. And it is NOT pretty lol
There may be some BMW guys who have those first couple of years of the F87 M2, the non comp models, looking to get into a 4BW in the near future. I'm still planning to go through with my G87 order but...
