Windows default file system for bulk storage is NTFS, it wouldn't offer to format large drives as FAT32 in order to force people to NTFS.
exFAT is the go-to default for SD cards but requires (required?) paying licensing fees.
Typically the school cars that go through DC Motors have manufacturer warranty except for the powertrain. Anyone buying a used C7, C8 or Blackwing should have the VIN checked for warranty status regardless of where's its listed because you don't know where those cars will appear down the road.

I'm guessing they carried that advice from the Corvette school where it's probably reasonable advice. The GS and Z06 have a known reputation of breaking inner barrels of their wheels. I personally wouldn't be too worried about the 4BW wheels nor the 5BW since the wheels aren't nearly as wide.
If you don't care about the luxury component and are cross-shopping against Corvette (that is now mid-engine) and Camaro (that you can no longer buy new), then why would you even be looking at Cadillac (or any of its competitors)? They are completely different cars.
