PDR and Surround Vision Camera Recording

Windows default file system for bulk storage is NTFS, it wouldn't offer to format large drives as FAT32 in order to force people to NTFS. exFAT is the go-to default for SD cards but requires (required?) paying licensing fees.

PDR and Surround Vision Camera Recording

FAT32 max volume size is 2 TB. What might be causing problems on the 256 GB cards is the sector and cluster size the formatting tool is picking.

    Warning: DCMotors Anaheim

I don't think that is a 100% rule. For example, GM owned the C7 ZR-1s.

    Warning: DCMotors Anaheim

Typically the school cars that go through DC Motors have manufacturer warranty except for the powertrain. Anyone buying a used C7, C8 or Blackwing should have the VIN checked for warranty status regardless of where's its listed because you don't know where those cars will appear down the road.

I don't know if the PPF or PTM would be more angry about that!

CT4V BW PPF - who has done it, and what panels

I have full front, mirrors and lower door/rear quarter panels PPFd. It's done it's job. Beware that the front splash guards/etc. won't fit if you have the CF side skirts as they interfere with mounting points.

What are you all paying for insurance?

View insurance as your protection from others. All it takes is one person with no or minimal insurance, assets and income to wreck your life and finances.

Pics of your Blackwing in regular parking spots

I took Rt. 30 from Breezewood to Gettysburg and then back to Bedford. I found my limit was about 0.4g to 0.5g between 40 to 60 MPH, which is actually really good for me*. I'm sure the car was bored, but still faster than everyone else around me. :ROFLMAO: The overrun pops on the downhill...

What are you all paying for insurance?

You need to quote the protections for the costs to make sense. $760.70/6 month for both my C7 Z06 and 4BW. Liability - Bodily Injury and Property Damage $250,000 / $500,000 / $100,000 Per person / per accident / per accident Uninsured Motor Vehicle - Bodily Injury and Property Damage $250,000...

Question, am I the only one who.....???

I'm guessing they carried that advice from the Corvette school where it's probably reasonable advice. The GS and Z06 have a known reputation of breaking inner barrels of their wheels. I personally wouldn't be too worried about the 4BW wheels nor the 5BW since the wheels aren't nearly as wide.

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

I don't know what their data source since but I bet that it doesn't reflect either the actual cars' MSRP or includes Blackwings at all.

You're right. I didn't check the Performance tab on the Chevrolet website, only the Cars tab.

    Is it totaled?

Months might be optimisic depending on parts availability. Isn't there another thread with a damaged car that has been waiting for parts?

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

If you don't care about the luxury component and are cross-shopping against Corvette (that is now mid-engine) and Camaro (that you can no longer buy new), then why would you even be looking at Cadillac (or any of its competitors)? They are completely different cars. P.S. Especially when the...
