My order is also rift. And while I haven't seen satin steel know that 1) There is no wrong color, and 2) I need a break from dark colored [ and especially black ] cars.
MSRP can easily be had on new orders. Whether the dealership gets an allocation or not is the question of most concern.
I would ring the sales guy who verbally quoted MSRP and if you are both serious, place an order with him. Or call a few dealerships and check the waitlist, allocation...
The CF constraint goes back at least as far as August. And if the CF wing ever becomes available as OEM or aftermarket, I'd like one too.
Occasionally CF spec'd orders are picked, so if you're high on the list at your dealer and CF is a must; There's a long-shot chance it could still happen...

I decided that my vanity plate will be my wifes first name, NATSUMI.
And hopeful that when she sees her name it will subconsciously spark an affinity in her toward the Blackwing! Perhaps making that 100K pill a little easier to swallow. ;)
