Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have a humble apology to make for an incorrect statement I made about my car earlier at delivery. As I took delivery today ... It did not have 34 miles on it as I stated yesterday, it has 13. The dealer guy who took delivery said 34, but not his fault, I was wrong and...
This does not do it justice as it is in my garage. It did not stand out as much as yellow would, also the satin graphite rims tone down the contrast I like it. Black rims would make it stand out more.
Jack Cooper is finished tracking your car when the drop it off at a rail yard. Then it is the train carrier and you can track the car (if you get a car number) for the various railroads that cover your area.
Saw it delivered today as truck came into dealership. I tried to upload a video that shows (and hears) the delivery person grinding the gears as they try to drive a stick shift. You can hear me ask the dealership to "take over" so he stops. Will have more pics tomorrow when I pick it up...
Well to add to the GOAT Rodeo, my car was delivered today ... will post pics in the delivery thread. it has over 34miles during shipping!!!! WTF!!! Someone care to tell me how that happens out side of a Ferris Beuller moment? Pisses me off.
Just to give everyone something else to worry about.
I have been tracking mine on the train the entire way. Just left for Winston FL from Jacksonville. I would keep checking as sometimes the system does not recognize the rail car (??), but a second call does.
With all due respect, aren't our cars going to get "Rain, dirt, debris ... driving 100's of miles" as we get through the 500-1500 mile break-in period(s)? I understand the point you are making, but in real life, low on the "utility curve".
