The sensors are for pad wear. There are no sensors regarding heat. That message pops up from an algorithm calculating if the car thinks things are too hot or not based on calculations it’s made based on assumptions. That warning is based on an algorithm. There are no actual sensors. The pedal is also brake by wire so anything you feel is completely simulated.
