No, "GM" contracts are from the date of service contract signing, not purchase of vehicle date unless something has changed recently.

Correct. I still have 13 months left on my original 4 year warranty and I basically give it away. I only do about 2000-2500 miles per year. So my 7 years will run out before my miles ever get to 56k.
*** I remember my 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme came with 6 years and 60,000 miles. I guess GM has lost faith in their engineering skills.

So I have 29K miles on a 2022 CT5V-BW, 4 months until standard warranty runs out. I just got quoted $6505 for $100 deductible on platinum for additional 5yrs/50K which of course its doubtful ill hit the miles. Silver was $5999. $0 was a couple hundred more. Any thoughts off the cuff on on the price? Seems a bit high, but your miles were way lower than mine. but still seems really high as mine are a lot lower than normal driving.

OK. I pulled the trigger and just went with MacMulkin Chev/Cadillac. I got a quote of $1850 from James Black. I had a quote of $1566 from MacMulkin and THEN they send me an email that it was an old price quote from before the yearly increase. I thought it was some sort of "bait and switch" routine and thats when I talked to James Black Cadillac and he agreed the prices quoted from both dealers was correct. I went with MacMulkin and saved the extra $50 bucks. Here are the extended warranty current prices as provided by MacMulkin.

Thanks for posting these lists. Are these prices retail prices or dealer prices? (I recall that dealer pricing was about half of the retail pricing on Ford warranties). I'm going to be a CT-5V owner soon and am considering getting a GMPP Platinum plan.

I just cold called a bunch of dealers and whoever sent me the lowest quote got my credit card. macMulkin said that they go for the volume , not the high prices that others charge. My local dealer wanted 2 grand more than everyone else. They got greedy and lost a sale.
