Hi all,

JJ here. I just got a new ‘26 BW. It’s the third LT4 powered car I’ve owned. I had an’18 and a ‘22 ZL1 1LE, both 6m Tremecs. I loved them both but I felt it was time for an auto trans and a 4 door sedan, so I got this beautiful CT5 V. Great performance and many more features that the ZLE’s had!!!

I love this car, so far with just several hundred miles, but knowing the LT 4 very well, this car feels great. I don’t drive my cars hard and do not track them, so I expect this one to last a long time.

Looking forward to learning more on this forum!!

Take care,

JJ

Picture of your new 4 dr ZLE :)
Im sure you will love it as much, if not more, than your ZLEs.

I still have a 2018 2SS Hot Wheels. One of the reasons I picked up the BW was it was a 4 door ZL1 for my purposes. So instead of selling the 2SS for a ZL1 I kept it and picked up family speed sled (BW).

Here it is. Loving it more each day.

Welcome aboard !!

Can't believe you passed up the manual on the sedan........

Welcome aboard, JJ. That's a great color choice and a nice home as well. Feel free to let us know on how you like the automatic transmission compared to the 6-speed tremec manual that you were used to. Hope you have many happy miles ahead.

Hey Bald,

I loved the 6M in the ZLE. It had the perfect ratios and gear spread. It was the best manual transmission I ever had/used!! But it was a pain around the heavy traffic here. I was ready for a performance sedan that would hold four and still be great fun to drive.

The 5V handles great and rides well. The ZLE was rough at all levels, even on the softest settings. I love the 10A with the LT4. It’s definitely a different experience, and I don’t have a single complaint about the change!!

It has a ton of interior features the ZLE did not. It may take me a month to get all those features into play! The more I drive the 5V the more I like it. For me it’s the best of both worlds. As awesome as the ZLE is I didn’t really use it to its full potential. I know the 5V will get more “fun” use.

Take care

JJ
