CT5 Blackwing 1,200 miles dealership visit!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weather and driving season!

I got my CT5 BW July 15, and seems I should cross 1,200 miles or 2,000km by the end of this week.

I have an appointment at my dealership for an oil change, alignment check (I know it is off), and MAYBE if I have to do it the rear differential fluid?

Thoughts?

Did any of you do preventative maintenance or anything of sorts for the break-in mileage?

I remember someone writing about rear differential fluid, not sure if that is mandatory.

PFA! Loving the car.View attachment 31573
I changed my engine oil at 1,100 miles and rear diff fluid at 1,500 miles.

Result of alignment.

Was off!

First oil change done too, dealer confirmed they used Mobil1 0-40

Hello, does GM charge for alignment at the complimentary first oil change appoinment? I want to have one done for a road trip. I'd rather use the oil change freebie later but need the alignment at least checked. Am I better off paying a track specialist for the job with a little tweak to stock? Just for the roads and canyons. Thanks

I did not get charged, but this dealership was nicer than others I have been to. They were not even my selling dealer!

Nice! They probably liked the color of your car so much that...:beer

I'm actually hoping I can use the tire rotation that is included in the maintenance to switch over my winter tires, lol.

All of this depends on your Dealer and your negotiating skills. Its very resonable to tell them the car was delivered off and theyll do the alignment at no cost for sure

That sounds reasonable, for sure. I've talked to a V-Series Certified dealer about upcoming service - there's one in WA, OR, MT - 3 in the region. My local dealer has never seen a blackwing. I'm in WA but not going to that one so planning roadtrips around service time. Plus track events when it all works out.

Here's a V-Series Certified dealer search link that someone shared earlier.
