‘22 CT4V Blackwing
I’m a new ‘22 CT4V Blackwing owner in Austin, TX.
EXTERIOR: ELECTRIC BLUE
INTERIOR: JET BLACK W/ JET BLACK
Serial #: 41-612

I’m new to the CT4V Blackwing community but I’ve had an ‘18 ATSV with full b/o (traded for a Sierra Denali). I’ve been lurking in the forums to get more insight on this car as well.

Welcome! I just sold my Blackwing earlier today but I'll still give you a wave if I see you around town

Congrats ajtx00 and Seth,
I've also been lurking daily as well as watching fluctuating inventories on AutoTrader and Caddy dealerships.
For ajtx00, you picked up a '22 MY, how thorough was your PPI process given CT4-V BW owners love to push the limits of performance and possibly maintenance?

Seth, how long did you own your BW and why did you decide it was time to make a change?

Thanks from a ready to make the BW a reality lurker!

Hey! Had it for 2Y 9M and 51.5k miles. Had a lot of issues early on that killed my love for it and a persistent, annoying noise under acceleration that made the ownership experience less than ideal. That being said it seems I am in the minority with reliability issues, and the car is a blast to drive!

PPI? I’m new to the CT4-BW but not the engine. I use to own a ATSV but traded that in for a Sierra Denali and now back to a CT4V-BW.

I can see why you 'fell' for your Electric Blue beauty. Did you have a Pre-Purchase-Inspection done by a mechanic familiar with ATS's or Blackwings? If so, what if anything did they say to watch out for before and after committing to buying it beyond the LF4 such as chassis, Tremec 6060, etc.

Appreciate your thoughts,
MIC
