Escalade V Issues

Guys

I'm looking to purchase a 23-24 Escalade V in the near future to go along with my 23 ct5 Black Wing. I have noticed several Escalade V with Branded Titles (GM Buy backs).

Is there any major issues with the escalade that I should be aware of or look for during my search and purchase?

How many of you owners have/had the Optional: Console refrigerator / freezer? Does it work as advertised, worth having or an advertising hype?

Any alignment issues? I noticed several have Thrust Alignment service at dealerships, what would that type of alignment entail?

I would personally steer clear of any branded title, especially for a high performance / HP vehicle like the V. I love my Escalade Diesel so much I drive it more than the BW.

A buyback happens when GM can't fix the car in a timely fashion (aka lemon law). You may get a steal on a fully repaired vehicle or you may buy a problem they can't fix. When you're talking about that kind of money it isn't really a smart gamble IMO.

Anecdotally, I've read on places like reddit/V subs that some folks have had engine lockup/failures with their LT4's (which is bound to happen to any platform), however, I haven't been determine why or the scope...

Is there somewhere you're able to search for branded titles?

My current 21' Suburban 6.2 has been pretty rock solid besides some stupid things, it's actually at the dealer now for AC evaporator and condenser replacement, the extended warranty has paid for itself. It's also caught up in this L87 engine issue recall (can't wait to see what comes) ... I love my Sub and the space it provides and considering consolidating both my Sub and BW into a Escalade V.

The places I have seen these branded title's when I'm searching the Escalade V for sale on Autotrader/cargurus is in the history report included in the vehicles documents is where its being identified. I will also have Caddie download a copy of the GM Maintenance history report to validate the warranty and any Maintenance issue this vehicle has had before I purchase.
