Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

The car isn't sold until it's paid for and contracted, and many customers back out of their orders.
I know but I assumed SRO orders with a customer attached to them wouldn't show up in the inventory, just normal dealer orders (which could be designated for a customer, just by the dealer). I believe there's pros/cons for dealers to place orders as SRO so maybe these aren't being placed that way? I've been through the GM goat rodeo before with other vehicles but never paid attention to whether they show up in transit inventory.

Well, my time in the goat rodeo is over. It’s been a fun 9 months. Good luck to everyone waiting!!!

Did you get bronze calipers? I thought about that color combo and tan interior. Some tint will look sharp with that color.

Congratulations! Looks like everybody is buyin Typhoon. By the time I order mine, the market will be flooded with them 😊

I did go with bronze calipers. I went with black interior. I wasn’t a fan of the tan interior. Now, if it was brown like the bmw’s, I would have paid a lot more for that option lol.

2025 DSM 5BW 86-381 is finally home! Arrived at the dealer 2 days ago and they completed the pdi and detail the same day so I could come via bus from northern Va to Delaware and drive it home. Production date was 2/5. Originally a dealer stock order that was put in back in November. All CF including seat backs, Precision, PDR, 6 speed, etc.

This forum has been an invaluable tool for easing my worries waiting as well as learning everything I can about the platform. I’d advise anyone who’s still waiting in the goat rodeo to do the same. It’s finally over. My total wait was just under 2.5 months from the time I made the deposit till I drove her home. Dealer stock is the way!

I’m still gonna be on this forum regularly because it’s such a great community and a very useful tool. So thanks for everything, team. If you’re still waiting on ur BW, fret not. It’ll all be more than worth it in the end. I had extremely high expectations and the BW is already exceeding all of them and I’ve barely even scratched the surface (not to mention still well within the break-in.)

Congrats. Some level of irony in spending 3+ hours on public transportation to pick up your $130k vehicle. :_rock How many tanks of gas was it to get back home? :Steer

@1StunnaV, any idea when order banks will open for MY26?

Hahaha. I actually wasn’t going to pick it up until next week and had prior engagements every day except the day it came in, but my dealer was like, “what if I could have it ready today? (the same day it arrived)” so I got online and just bought the cheapest ticket on whatever transportation would get me there before they closed lmao. Amtrak was overpriced, and ya, the irony wasn’t lost on me at all and it kinda made it more fun in a way. $26 one way Chinese bus from dc to nyc to pick up my $160k 5BW. Got dropped off at the big Delaware welcome service area and got picked up by one of the salesman’s wives😂

They filled it up with 94 octane from sunoco. Drove it to the gas station down the street from the dealer with my salesman riding shotgun lol. He also let me take it out for a spin alone as soon as we arrived. It was actually an amazing experience across the board. I know people hate Delaware caddy cause adm, but those dudes are top notch. But ya anyway, it burned not even half a tank of gas going 120 miles from Wilmington de to northern Va. was short surprised lol. Ofc, I was as on tour mode the entire time and keeping it well under 4500, but ya. It’s been great on gas thus far. I know that ain’t gonna last long at all. 😂😂😂
