You can check the order status via the chat bot on the Cadillac website if you have the order number. But if Dustin has not called and said he assigned your order to an allocation then it has not gone anywhere. 2026 CT5 production starts June 1. With no year over year changes GM will keep making 2025 CT5 models right until then.So are they done taking orders for the model year? Haven't heard from my salesperson at Sewell Dallas in 11 days. Put the order in on the 2nd.
Does that include V/Blackwing?You can check the order status via the chat bot on the Cadillac website if you have the order number. She showed me a screenshot of the order to confirm all my choices but never gave the order number. You'll be able to find your car as 'in transit' on the inventory site but any dates associated with this process should be taken with a huge grain of salt. You can see below how many different dates I've been promised.Just curious, I was told I have a May 13th ETA for delivery of my car. But, it’s not showing up on the Cadillac website or the dealership website. Should it be? Or do customer ordered cars not show up in the inventory?
I wouldn’t count on that delivery date. When was your vehicle produced? Take that production date and tack on 2-3 months. That’s your delivery date. Any estimation on the site is most likely wrong. They’ll change a lot and if there’s no date, it means there’s a delay of some sort most likely.Just curious, I was told I have a May 13th ETA for delivery of my car. Is that 100% certain that customer sold orders (SRO) show up in the inventory on the site? I didn't think they did for some reason and that was just dealer stock orders.Easiest way to find your car in the inventory is to do the Build & Buy. Configure the same specs as the one you ordered. When you get to the summary screen, it should show up in the inventory list as an ‘Exact Match’. And show it is assigned to your dealer. Note you may need to change the zip or the distance to see all the cars. You can also search by dealer.
As mentioned above, the estimated delivery date means nothing. It is not to be trusted.
Mine was a customer build (by me) and showed up in the system as available inventory on the configurator when it was in transit. Is that 100% certain that customer sold orders (SRO) show up in the inventory on the site? I didn't think they did for some reason and that was just dealer stock orders.
Thanks! That's interesting. Seems like GM shouldn't show those butMine was a customer build (by me) and showed up in the system as available inventory on the configurator when it was in transit.
mine was on the Cadillac and dealership websites for a day or two and then was taken down by the dealer. some dealers leave them up to get people calling and others, like my small hometown dealer, don't want to field a ton of calls.Just curious, I was told I have a May 13th ETA for delivery of my car. just want to rile them up to get them in the door or have a backup in case anyone doesn't go through with their order and cancel.mine was on the Cadillac and dealership websites for a day or two and then was taken down by the dealer. some dealers leave them up to get people calling and others, like my small hometown dealer, don't want to field a ton of calls.
The car isn't sold until it's paid for and contracted, and many customers back out of their orders. Thanks! That's interesting. Seems like GM shouldn't show those but.
