Can you post a picture of what the screen looks like when you select it? I assume there’s one more choice past Race that is there?
Currently on my car anytime I select any of the PTM modes it triggers a crash avoidance system fault. It clears itself when exiting PTM. No Pro mode available.
I started with a ‘25, standard suspension and iron brakes, tech bronze wheels. Ride was quite good, was never as good as what I have read online here. No complaints at all but I was expecting more.
Changed to a ‘26 with the PP that came with the 2Rs. Ride really didn’t seem that much more...
I don’t think you are making the point that you want to but it’s predictable, you wanting to prove that you understand PTM more than others.
Do you wish BMW M5 drivers who enable 2WD mode in their AWD cars also to go in the ditch? Why else would that mode be needed?
Or AMG guys with drift mode...
It has nothing to do with going faster; it’s about hooning and you know it.
Based on your prior comments here going back for years, it’s evident we’ll not see eye to eye on this. No need for the ‘looking for trouble’ lecture.
Just to pile on - the 2025 “V-Series Convenience & Personalization Guide” states that there is a PTM 6 - PRO (CT5-V Blackwing). “Is for dry conditions. All traction and stability systems are off for the most analog driving experience.” I’d really like to use this...
It’s probably tire pressure differences. Makes a big difference in ride quality.
If the car is new it’s possible they didn’t take the transport blocks out of the front springs.
