Guess I’m lucky. My state did away with inspections. Though I still have all the stock stuff so if they ever come back it can all be thrown on for an inspection and then switched back.
For me….short answer is yes. I did the blue belt with the JB4 and the oversized air intake and a muffler delete (kept the valves). Now the car is just what I was looking for, louder with just the right amount of added hp. I ran just the white belt for quite a while it is a step up but the...
It does….mostly on cooler days. I got the Tapout assassin module that clears it with a press of a button. Otherwise it’s a bit of a longer process using the jb4. Also tapout recommended Boostane to me to get to 93octane. I been using it for over a year with no problems. As a bonus with the...
I’m kind of chuckling at this thread…….I deleted the mufflers and installed catless Dp’s…..I hated how quiet this car was stock. I did keep the valves though, for the wife it’s nice to still have it almost stock quiet with the valves closed. To each their own though. I like the obnoxious...
Took mine in for an oil change 13k miles on my 22’. Looks like timing couldn’t be better. Apparently the line for the tranny was rubbing on something and broke a hole in the line spewing fluid. So they keeping the car for that and the wire harness recall. I forgot about that…although I...
Hahaha. One of the perks of being the president and majority shareholder of the company…. That’s how I justify the car and mods with my wife, “It’s for work hon”
I have had the JB4 for over a year now. I noticed they updated it recently and they say they have a map for 93octane in the video. I bought mine from tapout and they provided different maps for different octane but suggested changing a couple settings within the stock map for 93 octane. I’m...
This is the same setup I am thinking of pulling the trigger on.
However I want these in satin bronze and they seem to not make the VS-5RS in the rear size in that color. They make it in the Sm-10RS though, is there a difference in these wheels other than just looks? The VS I think is the...
I have a 22 4VBW with Tapout blue belt (with JB4 & DTC Assasin)) +large diameter intake and exhaust delete. I’m wondering if there is any thing to be gained with these or just get cool looking red accents in the grill? If there is would any changes be needed with JB4?
I’m looking forward to hearing some clips of the new setup. It would really have to be something for me to move away from mine as it is. What I have is borderline obnoxious in race mode when hammering on it and just the right amount of noise for me when driving normally.
I have roads near me where there are lights on 60mph roads so from time to time if some one wants I’ll see who can get up to 60 quickest. The other day though I was on the freeway and had what looked to be a fairly new m8 competion pull next to me and wanted to do rolling start. My 4BW with...
I’m in the same boat with my 4bw at about 20mpg. Everything else I drive (diesel trucks) gets about 8-14 mpg so I feel like the BW is super economical on fuel.
Added the CF oversized intake and dipped the stock wheels today. Not sure if it will show in the pic but the new air box CF matches the radiator shroud but the engine cover seems to be much more silver looking than the other two pieces. Not sure how I feel about it….the more I look at it the...
I would assume not... I have since done tapouts' DP's and per their info Hp gains are super miniminal unless you unlock with a full tune. So I would think a catback system would be the same.
