Money’s on mucking about bc they can - you purchased out of state. Work with a different, local Cadillac dealer you love and trust for service. Check in with multiple dealers and parallel work this if you don’t have a relationship like this already - you’ll eventually build one.
Ah. I was soft wired using the cigarette lighter. The dimmers stopped working bc the sensor(s) were blocked. Good to hear you found a spot this doesn't happen!
I had a Uniden installed a while and my auto-dimming mirrors stopped working (rear view and both side mirrors). Do the installations in this thread resolve that?
Have you made sure your key is very much out of range (not inside the garage door in a basket for example)? I wonder if the keys are just w/in radius w/ its signal going in and out. And have you tried a faraday pouch?
If you have the rear view mirror camera it can definitely help with our blind spots. The door mirrors could be adjusted differently if using it.
I have the rear view camera option but rarely use it though. I don't prefer how the camera messes w/ my spatial awareness when I move my head. And it...
@Sir_wilhelmsemuth What's the latest CT5-V BW suspension news? I'm getting consistent, good times at my tracks and am ready to see if I can get some more out of it mechanically now.
I'm looking at swaybar, control arm, and bushing changes for more planted mid-corner and more rear tracking...
I have two car seats in the back. When those aren't installed, which is rare, I keep my rear seatbelts buckled with shoulder straps extended/released to ratchet. Both negate reasonable access.
I like your solution b/c it may help even more w/ reasonable access situations. Probable cause would...
Tail happy car wagging its tail. I have noticed the walking or wagging at speed on straights full throttle gets more noticeable as the tires wear. Savagegeese likely have new tires being reviewed and the walk/wag is more tame w/ new tires.
I guess that's when I know new tires are needed - when...
My bank 1 catalytic converter was replaced ~16k miles. Plugged. ~100 miles after that I had bank 1 spark plugs replaced due to misfire codes. I've since driven ~1200 miles including a track day and all is well. I do worry there'll be another cat or plug failure in my future b/c nothing else was...
It's a setting in your instrument cluster, not w/in vehicle settings on the center stack. You have to use your steering wheel arrows to find it. It's called "Speed Warning."
I’ve had several (different cyl) CT5-V BW spark plugs replaced under warranty due to misfire. Carbon tracked was referenced. Always runs great after replacement. No compression, leak down, etc. tests performed.
FWIW, I had a GMC Typhoon where I replaced caps/plugs/wires every year. Wondering if...
