coming from an M2 here...The tremec transmission is so much better. if you are not talking manuals then i'd go with the m3. i considered the m3 for power and refinement but ultimately the transmission and the driver engagement in the blackwing won me over.

yeah it sounds like it. I thought we would be able to try both cars and transmissions out but doesn't seem that way. Maybe someone who has been already can let us know.

yeah they are not warped but bad pad deposits. I had dealer in Austin check it out as they said their techs working on blackwings and Vs all track their cars so I thought I could trust them...they charged me over $350 for inspection and quoted me $2500 on the replacement. I won't be going back...

I talked to MJ yesterday and she said there are no more ct4 manual spots available for the remainder of the year so I am stuck with a ct5. booked it for Nov 30

i drove mine for a couple weeks on the recommended track spec after a track day and I miss it. it didnt't sacrifice much in terms of ride. But I think youre right about the -2.0 up front would be sweet spot for daily fun/acceptable wear.
