How the heck do I replace the battery!

After hooking it up you can route it nice and tidy like this and then close the hood

    In praise of stealth mode

You can set Waze to send audio alerts. Also, at least for me, this is for when I’ve got a long night drive ahead, not spirited backroads driving, or when I need to get somewhere as quickly as possible on a freeway without getting a ticket.

ambient lighting is off, too, it’s almost funereal, but in a cool way

CT5-V What don't you like about your CT5-V Blackwing?

… glass half-full reply: legit little issue, sure, but at least we HAVE buttons, unlike so many other vehicles of all makes, models, and classes these days.

    In praise of stealth mode

Speedo, minimalist fuel gauge and tach, current gear (yellow if rev match is on) in a very small font, currently relevant idiot lights (like headlamps “on”, and high beams on auto), is the sum of it, if I remember correctly. You also continue to see whatever you’ve configured on your heads-up...

Looking for touch up paint for tech bronze wheels

Funny you should say that. I backed into a spot with a curb on the passenger side before visiting my sister. I noted the curb when I stepped out of my car and I thought: Don't forget to exit in a wide arc when you turn out to leave that spot. I visit my sister. I leave. I forget about the curb...

Looking for touch up paint for tech bronze wheels

Scraped one of my tech bronze rims on a curb this morning and would like to touch it up. Anyone here ever order touch paint for them and if so, from where? Alternatively, anyone know the paint code or have their wheels off the car so they can see if, as googling suggests, the code is printed...

Scuffed one of my rims up on a curb this morning and would like to touch it up. Anyone here ever order touch paint for them and if so, from where? Alternatively, anyone here know the paint code or has the wheels off the car so they can take a peek at the rim to see if, as googling suggests, the...

    Your Blackwing in the snow

It’s usually kept in our garage. Unfortunately, though, the garage is accessed via an alley that’s pretty low on the city’s snow clearing priority list. We only get two or three major snowstorms here most years, but when they do hit, getting in and out is much more an issue than the cold.

    In praise of stealth mode

I thought this little-known feature was a gimmick, but found it relaxing to be able to turn down the lights to just the essentials during parts of a long and sometimes arduous winter drive back to Toronto from Quebec last night.

… and now, my red 24, after the same drive, parked in the same spot. Come to think of it, they’re even the same winter tires.

How’s this, my ‘22 after getting home to T.O. after the same trip 2 years ago: (first posted on vnet back then)
