When Do You Change Your Oil?

Me too. If it is good enough for the fantastic engineers at GM who designed the engine and the bean counters at the company who figure out the cost of warranty repairs, it's good enough for me. To do more than that, in my opinion and without meaning disrespect to anyone, is kind of OCD.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

    Wings, but not black, alas!

    Am I crazy?

I can relate to the original post and to this suggestion, my own zip around town car being a lightly-modded MR2 Turbo, with the BW assigned to highway driving and touring duties (“power, speed and comfort”).

    Buying a pre-owned high MSRP 2024 CT5VBW or a new 2025 model?

The source? What source? Regarding your quote, the article it is in is entitled as follows: GM Explains Why 6.2L V8 L87 Engine Recall Doesn’t Apply To 2019, 2020 Vehicles So, if you’ll excuse my turning the volume up  with block caps, but I’m hoping it brings this nonsense to an end...

Looks like you’re trying to turn up the volume of Truckeetaurus’s baseless allegations. Oh yeah, wait… :giggle:

    Buying a pre-owned high MSRP 2024 CT5VBW or a new 2025 model?

Um, if you’re right, aren’t you doing the same thing as the ‘25s have exactly the same engine? Seems like you’re not just serving dinner but eating with everyone else. That is, if we’re eating anything at all, and I don’t think we are.

CT5-V Leather Seat Bolsters Looking Worn but Brand New

Looks pretty normal for me, others here (including me) have posted “worse”. In quotes as I think this is, as ai put it before, just the natural beauty of the leather. If it were “perfect” it could be mistaken for vinyl.

None of these is tanking in value but that’s highly speculative of course!

    Buying a pre-owned high MSRP 2024 CT5VBW or a new 2025 model?

A.I. messes up again. The 6.2 in the trucks is NOT an LT4, it’s an L87. Just because your cousin has herpes doesn’t mean you do, too. Unless you’re doing unnatural things with her. My own experience when I’ve brought my Blackwings in for an oil change is that everyone at the dealership...

    Buying a pre-owned high MSRP 2024 CT5VBW or a new 2025 model?

I’ve owned a ‘22 and now own a ‘24 (there was no ‘21), have been on this forum all that time, and have had no LT4 engine issues or problems, nor read anything on here to suspect that there are any. Some have blown, yes, but it’s never been established that it’s an unusually high number, nor that...

    Buying a pre-owned high MSRP 2024 CT5VBW or a new 2025 model?

Provided it’s been priced correctly, you will also likely avoid its first year of depreciation, usually the worst year for that, as well as any increase in price due to inflation.

CT5-V Leather Seat Bolsters Looking Worn but Brand New

About a year later and mine look the same as when I got them so I'm fine with the creases, just the natural beauty of leather.

CT5-V Manual 25 Blackwing no blindspot monitoring. Why

If they could add a volume control to the other controls that are already in the touchscreen, that would help.
