Replaced my cracked splitter with one I picked up from Tapout. As a mechanically-averse loser who can only handle the most basic of car maintenance, I decided against dropping $450 on Race Ramps and made my own from some leftover 2x10. My ramp design can definitely be improved, but it gave me...
I personally love it and am glad I was able to get both packages on my car, but some of it is so damn impractical :ROFLMAO: I drove to Tapout yesterday and picked up a replacement front splitter for my cracked one. Now I have to determine if I spend more money on Race Ramps or build my own so I...
I like the stock shifter but my alcantara is in rough shape despite efforts to clean & restore (I bought it used). I tend to cruise with my hand on the shifter and the feeling of pilled material is driving me nuts!
Anyone able to provide a step-by-step on how to remove the trim to access the torx screw? I'm going to switch my alcantara one to leather as it annoys the piss out of me.
Born and raised in the UK until I went to grad school here, so always used public transportation. Got my first car at age 25 in 2009 - an '07 Chevy Impala 1LT with 58,000 miles. I have to laugh at how much money I dumped into that thing to 'covert' it to an LTZ model... upgraded to the stock 18"...
Currently 19.6 average with a 70/30 split highway/city with 6MT. Numbers have jumped a bit since I got pulled over for the first time in 12 years last week 🙃
I would agree with this as I'm two weeks into ownership of a used BW. I got Sonax and cleaned both the wheel and shifter last week, and the amount of scum it pulled off was disgusting. While it's cleaner and softer now, it really doesn't look that great. I think the 18 months of prior ownership...
Absolute STUNNER. I picked up a used one this past weekend with a near-identical spec, but I envy the white with sky cool grey interior. You're going to love it, all I've done this week is clock watch til 5pm when I can drive mine again!
Got the taillights replaced under warranty today, should have them in a couple of weeks. I'm going to take a risk on the Tapout splitter and also try my hand at some carbon fiber repair on the OEM one. This will likely be my DD for the foreseeable, so probably not a bad idea to have a backup for...
I'm so glad I saw this because I spoke with Scott at Tapout this morning regarding the splitter and was going to order it tonight. I have the dive planes too, so if the color variance between those and the new splitter is significant that might be an issue. I'll take a look in the garage now to...
Has anyone used Premium Shield PPF? A shop near me just quoted $1,200 for the front end, and another $300 for the rockers. Another place quoted me $2,500 for Xpel doing front end and rockers.
