CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

Seems I remember Mirza Grebovic saying it would not, but I could be wrong. Also the ATS was Alpha 1. CT4 is Alpha 2. Could be a space difference.

2026 Cadillac CT5-V all season tires

I don't think they would come with the Continentals you mention, because they are not run flats. My 22 5V came with Michelin Primacy Tour A/S ZP's, because I spec'd the A/S tires (V rated) instead of the summer's.

    Modern Spare experience?

Yeah, that is something you might not think about-the original tire has to go back in the trunk. Could be an issue, if on vacation and the car is already packed full. As long as I don't blow a bead, I hope that the plug kit I carry will save the day.

    Modern Spare experience?

TIP: if you use Rennstands, you have a built in jackstand where you lifted it on the pinchwelds. It has made my tire rotations easier and safer.

I average 5-7k and the OLM has never been below 9% (one time at 6700 miles, but usually around 20% with lesser miles). I find this comfortable for me. Whatever interval you want is your choice. The GM OLM algorithm is heralded as very good. I'm getting ready to go on a 6000+ mile trip and...

    Blown engine

The owners manual says 1500, so believe who you will. An early oil change (~1k miles or less) is always a good idea to flush out break-in particles.

    Blown engine

Way back when I worked in a Chevy dealer parts department, I used to sit and eat lunch on top of an old school LS6 big block crate engine. So, maybe you never know what might be in stock. ;)

    2026 allocation

    Nostalgic for sure.

    Blown engine

Change oil early (500-1000 miles). Break-in bits need to be flushed out.

    Garage floor Stains

To mitigate oily stains I use some oil dry and repeatedly grind it into the surface with a brick or a small 2x4 block until it is dust. It helps some, but never seems to get it completely erased. IDK, that I have ever tried it on any tire marks, but those don't seem to be very prominent on my...

Nah, it doesn't look like that and the real color is not obscured. :)
